Caller called my cell twice today and it only ring once. I didn't answer or call back and the caller ID said Ellicott City Maryland.

I received a voicemail from this number and they claimed to be the IRS saying that they had been trying to contact me, this was their final attempt and that I was being sued by the IRS

I'm in Washington State.  Just received a call from this number as well.  Rang twice and then stopped.  I didn't answer.

Called and hung up.  Some type of spammer.

yeah, rang twice, hung up before i could reject.  in my mind that's a sign of scam...another number out of NY does the same thing..and one out of a 202 (?) code...

Same kind of call just now 10:40 AM CDT from same number MARYLAND it rang twice and hung up.
Don't know any one from MARYLAND. BLOCKED IT

Just would like to suggest everyone that DON'T PICKUP the call if you do not recognize the number, if someone have really important  to talk to you they can leave voice message

This is the lasted trick to avoid the "do not call" complaint. They call you and hang up before you answer, then you call back thus you initiated the call.

Called my cell phone, it rang once, left no voice mail. Will block.

The IRS will never contact you that way. We have had trouble here in Texas with this. The IRS will send you mail to set up an appointment . Never give out any of your personal info over the phone. It's all a scam.

I got a call from this #.  Called it back and got an automated message.  Telemarketer!!!  Put them on my automatic reject list.  JUST STOPPPPPPPP!

Same as many others - rang a couple of times and hung up. The number has been blocked. I am in CT.

I called them back.  It is a junk call alerting me that i had "won" a $100 voucher for shopping at an affiliated website.

Same as many others.  They called my cell, which never gets these junk calls, and hung up after a partial ring.  I'm in New York state.

Same as above. Wish their phone would spontaneously combust... They call a lot and I've never visited any website.

Called saying that I won $100 to spend at a number of places as a result of being a loyal shopper at Walmart ect. asked for my name, adress, and then card info saying theyd charge a $3 fee to send me my $100 card. I called out the individual about this potentially being a scam and that I'd seen people post in forums saying calls from this number are scams, he instantly got defensive and wanted to know the name of this site.
