I'm also on the DNC list and they called me.  I did not answer.  I work from home (yay!) a couple days a week and get calls forwarded to me from work that can have many different area codes.  It's very annoying to get these scam calls because sometimes I think it might be a work call and I answer it.

Now this is funny.

I blocked my outgoing number and called back, and received a message saying something to the effect of "press 1 to be removed from our preferred marketing list". As I blocked the outgoing number, I wonder what that'll do to their system?

I deliberately picked up the phone (knew the number since they have called before and did not leave a message) just to request removal. However, before I had a chance to say anything, they hung up. Since I do not have long distance on my home phone (where they called), I called back on my cell and reached "if you wish to be removed from our special promotions, press 1". However, since they are not calling my cell, that doesn't help. So instead, I pressed every number but 1 and held it down till the call disconnected automatically, then called it again and did the same thing.

I have reported it to the DONOTCALL registry yet again. Has anyone noticed now that before you fill out the online complaint form it asks if you were called on a phone call or a mobile text message? Apparently, they are now getting cell phone numbers.

I did not answer. We are on a do not call list and don't answer calls we don't recognize. There is a recorder for legitimate callers. How can we block calls from this number without having to pay for the service?

I am goint to file a complaint at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
every time I get a call from them.

This number is from a carpet cleaning co.  The voice says "Hi this is Diane". I have pushed 1 to talk to a person to tell them to remove my number but they always hang up on me.  I get these calls at least two times a week.

calls on Sunday for carpet cleaning

Robo call for carpet cleaning. Wife just hung up so entire advertisement/solicitation was unknown. We have all call on the federal DO NOT CALL list.

Attempted to report to FCC at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints ... due to federal office shutdowns that started today I could not make a report for violation of DNC that is in effect on all of our phones. Hoipe the federal shut-down is not taken advantage of by these miscreants

Have received several calls from this number but never pick up - no message ever left.

I decided on a new strategy - I answe the call, stay on till I get a human , and ask for the caller name and company name. I explain it is for the police report that I am filing against them on harassment charges

once, sometimes 2x/week phone # 458-201-0467 phones me. It's a carpet cleaner. Most times they hang up on me. I do not have any carpets in my apartment !

Call came in Oct 28th 12:04 PM,,,I wish I was home to answer this call!!!!

Fire up my professional whistle & blow it till the cows come home when I get a live person!!!!!!

6 PM 11/7/2013  New York Time.      Message asks that you press 1 to speak to a rep.  I did that and was asking that my number be removed from their list.  I didn't even get done talking and they hung up on me.  RUDE...    They have called my home every other day, or evening, for the past several weeks.   It is a carpet cleaning service.  When I did get them to answer the press 1 message it comes on as "carpet care"....   If you call the number back, you get a message that you can be removed from their "preferred marketing list within 72 hours"..  THAT DOESN'T MEAN A THING AS I HAVE DONE THAT FOR WEEKS...   Oh Well, next effort will be to the Better Business Bureau.   I'm retired so I have nothing else to do but cause these folks some trouble...

Voice-mail from 458-201-0467 on Oct 28, 2013 by "Diane" who wants to clean my carpets.  Yeah, no thanks loser!

It was a robocall from "Diane" about a carpet cleaning special.  *51 to trace and *69 to redial and got a message about press 1 to be removed.  BLEEP YOU ARE A CROOK BLEEP?  As if I would let a robocalling bleeper into my house.

This number is from CallerID4U in Oregon.  GIve them heck and contact the attorney general of Oregon!
