I also got this call today - seems like the volume and variety of these calls is really increasing.  I'm amazed that anyone still answers the phone from numbers that they do not recognize.

Called my office line, didn't answer, no vm left, saved as "Spam" contact for CID next time.

Called about 4:20pm EST. No message left on voicemail.

Just got a call from this number on my cell. Didn't answer. No message left. Thanks for the info. Will now block it.

Yea, scammers/criminals obviously care about laws/rules... not even taking into consideration how much of a joke the DNC list is.

... You're joking, right? First off, don't answer those calls because it's a scam, not a legit business, and now they know it's a live number (more prone to further callings). Second, as you said yourself, it's a foreign country and I promise you they don't give a [***] about our DNC list or other such things. Thirdly, Nigeria isn't a monarchy, so they don't have a Prince - don't reply to that email and send the Prince money/your bank information, it's also a lie. Fourthly, there is no Santa Clause.

It's scammers, not legit business, so the DNC does nothing for this. Best bet is to just not answer weird numbers when they call, and block them when they do. Sorry to hear about what's going on in your life though; I have faith things will fall into place for you though.

On the brightside, at least you answer the calls so they know to keep calling you.

fake loans bs. calling from different #s so i asked the punjabi [***] about 15x to just give me the bank account # of his co. so I could just take what I needed and i would just pay it back later..because I have as many problems as Vishnu has fingers...he hung up on me..

Received call on my cell. I'm on the do not call list. Recording said my business was approved for 250 K Loan. Press 1 for more info or 2 to be placed on their do not call list. No company name given.

Just got another prank call saying I'm approved for $250k. I'm on the no call list, but it doesn't seem to matter anymore!

2 calls, no messages left. Blocked. I get calls like this from all over the country, would like to string up the scammers

Caller ID said "Illegal Scam". Really????
