Recorded message from "Card Services" telling me I was eligible for a 6% interest rate on all my credit cards. I pushed 9 and told the person to put me on do not call list and she hung up on me!

I received a call from 469-544-0742 on my answering machine. It was a machine like caller who id'd herself as michelle from card services. She was offering a 6% rate on my credit cards. Caller ID said it was a cell phone from Texas.

I got the same call and pressed 9.  I inquired about the company name and where they got my number from.  The "gentleman" said that it was called cardservices and from the phoe book.  I informed him i was on the do no t call list and I was going to let the FCC know.  He the told me I wasn't scaring anyone and to "shut the f$%^ up".

A recorded message from "Card Services" stating that I was eligible for a 6% interest rate on all my credit cards. This is the 3rd call in the last two weeks.

The number showed up on my caller ID.  When I didn't answer, they hung up.  I'm on the do not call list, but that doesn't seem to bother these people.  Possibly a scam!

Same thing, caller ID was "Unavailable" and the recorded message from "card services" was an offer for a 6% interest credit card, that it was my final opportunity to lower my interest rate, and if interested, to press 9 to speak to a live operator, or 8 to prevent future calls from this company.  I pressed 8 and was told it was an invalid selection and the recorded message started all over again.  I pressed 9 and got the operator and asked how they got my number... she hung up immediately.

Caller from this number has called every day this week.  I just switched my phone service over to Earthlink's VoIP and whammo -- the phishing calls start coming in.  Even so, I am also on the Do Not Call Registry and this number has been listed with DNC from the onset of the service.  I think the individuals may be digitally accessing the # from internet service providers with VoIP.

Call came in from a cell phone, possibly a throwaway, and "Michelle" hung up on me, too. After the short message about "cardservices", I entered "9" and was transferred to what sounded like a land line.  Michelle answered and promptly hung up on me when I requested a cease and desist.

I doubt this is a telemarketer.  More likely to be a phisher collecting financial info from unsuspecting recipients of the call.  Possibly someone picking up the new numbers from people who change #s to a VoIP like Earthlink.

Checking Intelius for this cell # shows it as "available".  However, a deeper search on another site shows this number as a cell phone sold by T-Mobile in Grand Prairie, Texas.

THEY KEEP CALLING AND HANG UP. I HAVE TELLE-ZAPPER WHICH GIVES OFF 3 TONES AND THEY USUALLY HANG UP.

i got the same call to my machine as everyone here.  i've had this number
for years.

No message no audio no nothing.   Call back reports the number does not exist.

Is a new one to call, unavailable on the ID, doesn't wait for the machine to pick up.

Have been on the National Do Not Call list since they started it.

I received two calls from them ("Card Services") in the past 2 or 3 weeks.  I also had the same experience with the "press 8" option "was not recognized".  

The first girl I talked with got annoyed at my questions and hung up. The guy I talked to the other night...I asked him how me got my information, and he said we were on a big list of people who had a lot of credit card debt. I told him we do not carry balances, and he was like "huh". I said we were on the Do Not Call List and he acted like he didn't know what that was.

I received call this morning and I have Tele-Zapper on my line which sent a signal to the caller.  I did not hear anything for 30 seconds and they hung up. I called back the number and got an intercept message: "The subscriber you dialed is not in service. If you feel you received this message in error please try again later. Message TX 06 56."

Beware of scam.

I just received this call, talked with person, told them to remove me, and that I knew it was a scam.  I was told "it wasn't a scam", and then they hung up on me.  I tried calling this number back, and was told that the subscriber is not in service.

and I was told this number was no longer in servoce, but on my machine it's telling me I can save thousands in interested charges with their credit card,and credit reporting services.
Just another scam from Africa Im sure.

(Don't actually have phone number, but found this page by Googling "Card Services". I can't guarantee this is the correct number.)

I'm also receiving "6.9%" robo calls from something calling itself "Card Services", 3 times in the last 2 weeks.
Possibly related, a May 29 2007 press release from the North Carolina Attorney General describes a company which this exact MO (behavior), called Possibilities Unlimited. They've been given a court order to stop the calls to NC customers. Not sure how to get this stopped elsewhere, since I have neither a number or proof of company identity.

repeated calls from this #... recorded message about saving money with lower interest rates.. pressed the required # to speak to someone.. they answered with "card services"...requested my name to be taken off .. that person hung up on me.
