Faulk and sterns payment processing. Called and said they were calling to let me know they were going to withdrawal money from checking acct. haha. Don't have one! Good day and good luck right back at ya faulk and sterns.

Received vm from this  number stating they are notifying me of a pending withdrawal from my checking account and that I must call 469 708 8070 within 48 hrs. Jokes on them, I dont have a checking account! Definitely a scam!

Received a VM on my work phone....saying there is a complaint in my county and that if i dont call or my attorney calls that this will situation will go to court...and my job would be notified...and at the end he says good luck...lol

Caller stated the they were calling representing the county that I live in, and if I didn't make a payment by Monday I will get a summons to go to court and be sued for a payday loan, and possibly be charged if the attorney persues it.Can criminal charges be filed against you for a payday loan?

No.  Debts are civil, not criminal matters.  They are trying to scam you.  If you talk to them again, demand they mail you validation of the debt.  I'll bet they will find an excuse not to do that.  Do not give them any of your information.   They are violating the FDCPA.

called asking for wrong name, several times; from a Jason Burke, same county thing, graud cheque, case# , call in 48 hrs.......these jerks have got to be stopped!!!!!!!!!!

they called to look for me and i dont live in orange county . and i did look at website to see if any scam . it is scam called . that is bullcrap  stop call us .

I got a called from them they even have my social # saying I need to pay all they will report me to the check system or take further action.. His name was Victor Something from Faulk & Sterns. You could use my info my credit is no good.. I hope the Police caught does [***]... 469-708-0070 ext 105 .. is where they called from ......

I got a call from this number. Yes they treatened me said i had to pay right away or i'll be summoned to court within 48 hours and it would cost like 3500-4500 in court. The lady kept repeating herself like i was stupid. This was for something 3 years ago. They wouldn't take any kind of payment other than a debit or credit card. Don't give them any of your information. Everything seemed scamish about the call etc. Be aware

Someone named Tim called my daughter's phone to contact me, but urged that I called them since an important decision to issue a "subpeona warrant" to me the next day.  They said I must call to request a stop for this and avoid criminal charges.  I never even heard of a subpeona warrant.

They called me on my phone the day before and I missed the call, so I called it back and it was some kind of investigations company.  My name wasn't the same as before since I married and I gave my married name asking if someone called for me.  He repeated my married name and put me on hold a long while, I figured out that he was a collections rep and hung up.  He then called back wondering what happened to the connection and I said I didn't know any person by the name he sasked the for the old name, but mentioned that I was going by my married name (which he doesn't know I'm married).  His voice is very convincing and intimidating, but I had someone call me like this before, probably the same firm, but nothing ever happened.

This guy call my cell phone. Stating that I owe them money  from a payday loan. Which I thought was funny because  this morning I went online to apply for a payday loan. Then three hours later this guy is calling about a payday loan. I asked him to mail me the information about the money I owe his reply was he can email it. Then I told him no you must mail it to me. I even explain to him that i would go to fedex.com and pay for the shipping of the package for me to get it tomorrow. His reply was I am going to do my job and nothing else. Mailing you the information isnt my job. So i asked your telling me i owe your company money and your willing to call me to tell me about it but wont send me paperwork in reference to it? His reply was yes. I told him I spoke to my attorney yesterday and they told me when i get phone call like it to ask for the so called company to mail me information about the money that is owed. And if they don't for me not to give them any personal information about myself. I just got off the phone with my attorney and she stated that this was a joke. and not to worry about it.  There are people who are out there who are trying to scare people and fraud them by making them pay something that they don't owe.

How do I get them to stop calling my job my boss is getting really upset I cant have personal calls at work what should I do?

I also received a call from this number saying I owed this money from an online payday loan back in 2007. A lady by the name of Renee said if I didn't call them back and resolve this matter by a certain date a summons would be issued to me at my place of employment.I called a lawyer friend and he said it was a scam and if I had not received anything in the mail to ignore it. I had saved all the threating voice mails and if they continue I can pursue legal action.

Well ha ha to you...you scammer that works for the company!  It's not Check Systems when you can't get a checking account....it's Chex Systems!  Ha Ha!  Get a real job!!!
