Call from unknown #. Rejected and blocked.

Police accosiation asking for donations,, was told by police don't give money to this scammers. Coming from Niegiria scams.

Didn't answer. Caller ID showed to be Out of Area. Area code and exchange is in Midlothian, Tx. Blocked it.

AT&T Call protect lists this as a dangerous (scam) Caller w/ 126 reports in database. DONT ANSWER

This number called my cell phone before 9 AM. Left no message.

CID = "UNKNOWN NAME"  This is a sure sign of a scammer.  Asked for me and then said he was John from the Police officers Association.  I am so sick of these phony scam charities bothering me.  I gave him a sample of the "seven words you can't say on TV" and hung up.   I need to get a recording handy of NWA's "F.... tha Police" to play for these scammers.

Ask for "Regina"... When I said he had wrong number, he continues with "Well, maybe you can help with Police Fund.."
I just hung up as he kept going and going...

Called my cell just now. Came up from Midlothian, Texas ~ do these scammers know there’s nothing in Midlothian?! No message left, but based on the reports I’m reading; I’m blocking it now.

Another apparent scam.  The world has never been more evil.  I can’t remember the last time
I received a legitimate call.  Everyone is a crook.  Period.   Unreal.

Same thing here except he always asks for Maria.

Called me and asked, "Is Johnie there?"  I've had this number for over 10 years, so I tell him "No." and he says, "Ok, we'll try back." and before I can finish a sentence telling him that there's never going to be a "Johnie" at this number, he flat-out hangs up on me.

Asked for "Angelica"... When I said he had wrong number, he continues with "Well, maybe you can help with Police Fund.."

This isn't the first time I've been contacted with someone looking for Angelica.
This is an apparent SCAM and if anyone wants to donate to a charity to help the Families of Fallen Police Officers I would highly recommend contacting your local agency to do so.
