Garbled recording unable to understand woman I suspect some kind of scam

I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number... message was a recording repeating the phone number to call back.

They said they would charge my account 299. if they didnt hear back from me!
It was a VM, and they never revealed who they were. I havent ordered anything recently.

Recording saying something about my "Microsoft encryption account" and wanting $299.00. I don't think so! Did not say who they are supposed to be.

I didn't answer, caller left a recorded message - "....$199.00 from your account.  In case you don't want to be charged please call us to cancel.  Our toll free number is 469-856-8862."

I'd assume IF i called, they'd confirm I was being charged & then request I confirm my credit card number - I didn't reply & blocked the number.

Email transcription of the VM (an automated female voice) from this number:
"This subscription will be auto renew there will be auto deduction $299 from your account. In case you don't want to get charges please call us to cancel our subscription our toll free number is 1-469-856-8862 I repeat at the number to call is 1-469-856-8862."

Total scam - don't call back!  I think my Microsoft 'services' all expired at least 4x the last 2 weeks.

I just received a voice message from this number, female voice.  Very fast talking.  I believe I heard Microsoft. ???  Threatened to charge my account $299.00 if I didn't call back.  I'm ready to get rid of my phone.

Lady called and left message on my answering machine that I had to pay $299 or my internet would fail.

Message said my account would be charged $199 for subscription renewal or call their number if not want to be charged.

Message said Microsoft acct will be closed unless pay 299--call number to avoid payment.  blocked this #; had been called before.

Same as everyone else, will charge me either $199 or $299 if I dont call them back. Just ignoring this, scam.

Left message $99 would be charged from our account and we must call 1-469-856-8862.   Have no idea who this is nor what this female voice is taking about.

computerized female voice advising me that my account will be charged $299 for a subscription and that I should call "toll free" 469 856 8862 if I do not want to be charged.  Ridiculous, scammers will try anything these days.

I called the 469-856-8862 # and they answered as Micro soft windows!

Same as above!! Charging me $299.00 if I don't call 469-856-8862. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one and its a scam

Left voice message saying they were going to charge by account $299 if I didn’t call back regarding my computer encryption. Did not leave a name or service agency.

My experience is the same as everyone else’s.  I have had the same call on the past, ignored it, and nothing happened to my computer.  Pure scam in my opinion.

They called and spoke a few words in Spanish.  I did not answer and blocked number!

A female voice message on my phone to call back if I want to cancel the  subscription or will be charged to my account. Scam?
