United Courier Service also called me about delivering "legal papers" and so forth.

I don't owe any money. I'm hoping they follow through and deliver those papers... I am tired of dealing with these people reselling old paid-off debts over and over again. Get rid of one collector and another pops up within 3 months.

I will gladly go to court and countersue.

I got a similar voice mail from this missed call and the area codes was local so i thought it was legit. but when i called it back it was an automated answering machine that just said, "please leave a message" and then left a beep. I knew it had to be a cam because that's just very unprofessional for a "delivery" service. Oh well, I am going to block them now.

I have had these kinds of phone calls many times from different companies trying to collect a debt that I owe to a payday loan place. 1st of all, in the state of Texas, they can not legally serve you papers. Second of all they can not sue you to pay the loan. I have told them that i know this and it stopped them from calling me any more for a while. Apparently they now have a new collection company working for them so the calls have started again but they can do nothing in the state of Texas. Its just a scare tactic and they are hoping that your dumb enough o fall for it. Once they know you aren't, they will not waste any more time on you.

Yup. I got a call from them today too. There is nothing they can do legally in the state of Texas. they cant serve you papers or take you to court. Some states allow these types of lenders to sue but Texas protects their people so yo can rest easy knowing that once you tell them you know this they should stop harassing until the debt gets passed along to some other agency. :-)

I just got a message from Kelly at capital delivery service at 972-793-0759. Kelly called me, my husband, and my husbands friend. Kelly said they will be delivering a package and if no one is home to sign it they will deliver to my place of employment. Which I haven't worked in 6 months so that's impossible. I called the number back and no one answered. What is this?

That's the same thing I got. It was a lady named Kelly that called.

They had a package to be delivered to my house.to call a number with in 24to 48hrs.the directions wasn't clear. ( his name was Mitch Foster the number to call. ( 214 257 0970). But the number he called from ( 432 756 0444 ) l called this number  he said he was trying to get ahold of Valerie Triplett  hr ask for her number then said I'll give you a number for her to call me.it was unlisted.

So i got a call from "capital delivery services" for fortbends county as he says. Lol. Saying that they wanted to confirm my info for a legal delivery & that they have pulled my w2 from my job already. After i refused to render any of my pdrsonal informationI I hung up in his face. He called back over 8 times. On the 9th time i picked up & told him he has proven that he is nothing but a bill collector, since when did any company that have legal documentations start harrassing anyone over the telephone? Such [***].

Got a similar call to my home and cell phone telling me that I will be receiving legal documents and need two forms of id..they never showed up...I called and as I questioned "Tony" he transferred me to the hiring mediation company for Ace Cash Express where I supposedly owed over 1,000...they never delivered the paper work and so I called again this morning...when I told him there is something going on and I have made a police report as well as called all my financial institutions and credit bureaus he put me on hold then hung up and never answered my phone call again:)

These people have been threatening to send a courier to my job for about four years.  They will stop the harassment calls and start back after a few months of spoofing their telephone numbers.  I asked the idiot were they delivering on a mule because I'm still waiting on the legal documents.  I also tried to help the scammers out by reciting our laws and giving them the telephone number to the Human Resource department.  But oh no, the scammers prefer to harass me and pretend that they are legitimate.

Call from United courier service. Always threatening to deliver something. Uses several numbers.

Caller saying his name is Brian Wilson and his business is United Courier Services (I don't know why I capitalized an illegitimate business) and also claims to be with state location services looking for a member of my family in regard to some case #.  He ends the voicemail with "good luck" for added intimidation?!

United Courier Service has been calling me for years. I've never been served any papers. They call me at my job only. I work for a government agency and if I knew when they would call next I would have the AG's office at my desk to get the call. They are on the next floor. Anyway they have a new number, at least new to me 214-295-5046 (Dallas). I get these calls every few months. Just when I think they have stopped I get a new one. I just wish if they were coming they would come and if they are not, they realize that I'm not falling for it. If I have not called you back to "reschedule" the deliver in (3) three years, you should get the hint that I am not calling you... So come on so I can have the AG's special agent with me as my "witness".

They actually lied outright saying they were "representing Xxx County".....complete fabrication and represents fraud.

Yes, they also told me they were representing my county.   My county is named after a somewhat long Native American name and they absolutely butchered the pronunciation!

They were calling my number for someone who used me for a reference. Harassing me about them, I told him to call his mother ask her where the person they were looking for and let me know when they were so I can have the local police here waiting for them
