I let the call go to voice mail, they never leave a message.

Said that my ss# was stolen . Scam

Callback number on car warranty scam message purporting to come from spoofed local number.

Sent text msg that I needed to add $ to my Orange County Toll Road account. Easy to do just use your credit card # as your password. Yeah, right. Also I do not even have a Toll Road acct and call was from Texas!  Scam.

SCAM text to call the # from a friend (spoofed friend's #)

My friend got a text with my phone number telling him to press this phone number 1-469-982-5000 as if I sent. I DID NOT SEND. DONT KNO WHO TO REPORT TO OR WHO ELSE HAVE THEY CONTACTED SAYING FROM ME? PLZ HELP!

Do u know who to report to? Same thing just happened to my friend n they used as if the text came from me? How's this possible? Any info WLD be appreciated. Thanks.

Scam caller saying $21 dollars has been charged for my new Amazon prime membership. I did not join amazon prime.

Said I rented a car in Texas and then abandon it with drugs money and blood and now I'm being investigated and I'm in California

I was received a text message stating if I did not return the call I will receive a bench warrant I called the number they asked me my name and asked me to verify my last four digits of my social
they said that I had rented a car in Texas which I live in California and never been to Texas I'm not going to abandon the vehicle which was found with drugs blood and money and you have investigation on the situation and that didn't looking for me because I rented the car sound weird

They said the exact thing to me an I was so confused

The caller did not leave any message. Based on the other comments, presumed a spam. Placed a call block.

When I call anyone it comes up private or restricted.
Call traced phone number to 1(469) 982-5000.
WT$...Why, this makes no sense! Why would my phone number be showing this number instead of my number? very strange.

Called in from a Georgia phone number 4 times in a row which I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it.  Then left a voice message using my first name only saying call me.  Then left a text saying to call this 469 number..  This is clearly a scammer as they are fishing to get more info.  Don't tell them anything of your info or they'll use that to further invade your privacy.

Fraudulent social security scam. Your told via robo call they are suspending your number due to fraudulent activity. Do not answer call from this#

This is a callback number given on a voice mail message from a "Ms. Cooper" about our "DTE natural gas statement." We don't even HAVE a gas account with the utility. The number the call came from isn't the utility's number, and the callback is one of those Texas scam numbers like the car warranty one.
