Same thing as Chelsea.  I looked up the number on white pages and that site indicates that this call is a Scam/Fraud.

I received a call from this #

Caller called my number and left no voice mail

Caller asked if my husband was home. When I said "no," and asked who was calling, he hung up.

Have had several calls from this number.  They never leave a message.  When I call back I get a rapid busy signal.

Calls and won't leave a message

A guy called asking for Allison. I told him he had the wrong number. He then says "well maybe I can help him" I hung up and blocked the number.

No message left.

I received a call for an Elizabeth.  I told him he had a wrong number.  He said no problem maybe you can help.  He was requesting donation for law enforcement officers and families...  Then he put the call through billing department to collect money,  I told another guy to send me a letter to send the donation.

I reported it to Atlanta police department

Called my cell asking for Clifton (my father's name). When I said he had the wrong number, he interrupted me to say there was no message and hung up.

Called a couple of times. No one ever comes on the phone.

Gentleman looking for donations for veterans??

Normally don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but this is 470 a new area code for Atlanta and my daughter has a new phone number with it, so I answered the call. Heavily accented male voice asking for Shirley. I told him he had the wrong number. He then said I could help him by offering a donation of $25 or any amount that I felt like giving to a "worthy cause." I asked him what this "worthy cause" was and he hung up on me. This is a scam. Beware!

CID read "unavailable". I don't answer calls I don't recognize. No message left. Number now blocked.

They call several times each week. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. Experience from several years ago.....they are asking for donations and I told them to get lost.

They call several times each week, but won't leave a number on the answering machine. Assume it is another scam....like all the others.

left no message. I'm waiting for a call and don't know what their number is.  I was considering answering in case it was them. I live in metro Atlanta. When will all this stop! How terrible we can't even answer our own phones.

Had the same experience.  I guess that's what texting has become good for.
