Called Friday, Monday and today. Left a message talking about some mediation between myself and their client. If I don't call back I'd be forfeiting my rights. Said the company name was Premier Resolutions? Doubt it, couldn't find them anywhere. I can't think of any reason I'd be in a mediation...

Called me multiple times and called family members. Left the same message talking about some mediation between myself and their client. If I don't call back I'd be forfeiting my rights. Said the company name was Premier Resolutions. 14706824350

"this message from mediation Department of Premier Resolutions. You have been listed as a respondent on a complaint this department will be actively pursuing you at your residence and at your place of employment. It is imperative that you provide a statement to resolve this matter, voluntary.

Left threats to effect my job and home which is illegal. No voicemail when you call the number back and no one ever answers. When they called the second time he "Jason Smith"  was trying to get  money from me for an old collections bill that was 14 years ago and does not post on my credit report. The same thing happened 4 years ago but the "lawyer" that was suing me would not send me a bill for me to pay just wanted credit card info over phone.

Exactly the same here. They have no presence online either

Larry White left a voicemail saying he has a case in his office against me.  I called back and he was stuttering so much he couldn't even tell me the name of his business.  I let him know I am in the legal industry and have reported this fraud.

Same wording as similar calls over the years from multiple numbers. It’s just a scam trying to scare you. Block the number.

States they have a civil suit against me and they need to hear back by the end of the day or will pursue legal action.

This is a company of a few ppl posing theirself as a bill collection company PEOPLE be aware this is a SCAM they  Threaten legal action  but will not give there lawyer name or address this has been going on for two yrs now with me nor is the bill on my credit report tht they are asking for ..nor will give any info on acc SCAM SCAM SCAM OLDER PPL BEWARE

NEVER respond to these people. In Louisiana a 14 yr old collection bill would likely be legally uncollectable. The creditor has 3 yrs from the last payment made on the debt to file suit. After that, the debt is abandoned. Most other states probably have very similar laws. BTW...whenever you are served with a lawsuit, you ALWAYS have the right to defend yourself in court.

I had one of these messages left on my voicemail that clearly delineates that the phone number is a LAWYER'S OFFICE. I almost feel like calling them back just to torture them. Just remember...NEVER give these people ANY information...not your name, address, phone number, SSN, credit card number, or ANYTHING.  I once had a scammer who identified himself as a cop who treated to arrest me if I didn't "satisfy my debt".  I told him to come and arrest me, that I'd be waiting for him, and the door would be unlocked for him. He never showed up [imagine that]!!

While they cannot legally file a lawsuit or threaten to file a lawsuit once the SOL has past they can still legally attempt to collect the debt for eternity in 48 states.

Left a message to call back, same as all of the others, there is a legal action against me and I have until end of day to respond or have my lawyer respond.

I received the same phone call, and they said they were "Premier Resolutions" called and spoke or tried to speak to a female who I barely understood. Telling me call my lawyer if I didn't want to resolve the issue. Can't find the company so scam?

Debt Extortion Scammers

The vague scare tactic message is designed to panic a victim into calling back.

Most debt collectors will use a certain amount of pressure to convince you to pay the debt. After all, they often don't get paid unless you pay. Be suspicious of a debt collector who uses an unusual amount of pressure to get you to pay immediately, particularly if they also use scare tactics to get you to pay right away. For example, a debt collector is scamming you if it :

• threatens you with a lawsuit and tells that you can avoid the lawsuit by paying right away
• Says a Process Server  or Courier is coming with papers to sign
• Threatens to call / go to your place of employment
• Insists you have been notified, served or are non-compliant via phone message(s)
• Refuses to give a company name or verifiable Contact source
• Refuses to send proof of debt via US mail

A sure sign of a debt collection scam is a collector that wants to you to pay via wire transfer or another method that can't be traced. If the payment method can't be traced, you'll have a harder time getting the authorities involved.

If the creditor sounds completely foreign, or you know you never had an account with that business, there's a chance it's a scam. Never pay a collection you don't recognize. You have the right to request written proof of the debt from the debt collector before you send payment.

I had a message left saying that they were going to pursue legal action against me and they needed my employer's name. They said a few other things that did not make sense.

Scammers often don't make sense. They hope to confuse you to the point you pay them for a debt that likely doesn't even exist.

Same story as all the others.  Saying I took out a Check Cash & Go loan in 2016, referenced my Missouri address which is where I live now...not in 2016...They are SCAMMERS!!!
