- Business Owner| 2 repliesReceived a call from Icon Payment Solutions at my business claiming that they are a part of my merchant services and that I have qualified for "wholesale pricing" on my credit card transactions for Visa and Mastercard. They insisted on coming to my place of business and meeting their rep to look over my past merchant statements and get an estimate of my "savings" that I have qualified for.
After making an appointment with them, I then decided to google this Icon Payment Solutions and to my little surprise, they were a bunch of scam artists. I have read numerous complaints about them online, and it seems to be never ending since these scam artists are pretty convincing. I can't wait til I get to meet them and show them a little piece of every business that got scammed by them.
Apparently they have changed their business name 3 times because it's all over the internet about what a scam they are.
Go ahead and google Icon Payment Solutions. You'll see what I'm talking about. I'm guessing they also changed their number, since this thread seems to be out of the loop on what's going on.
Don't you just love the little hidden message on Icon -->> I-Con. You sure do con, alright!- Caller: Icon Payment solutions

I pretend I am very interested and then when they are just ready to set up a meeting, I say, "while we were talking I researched you on the BBB and other sites and you guys are a bunch of scum bags! It's too much fun! One time I asked to talk to Sean personally and the guy hung up on me. Sometimes I will say something like "you are my merchant services provider? I need to know you are legit so how much money did I do in credit card sales yesterday?" They get real quiet, real fast or just hang up!

- is this 4 real replies to Michael| 1 replyMaybe if you got an education and learned to write and think coherently, scammers would find it more difficult to take you to the cleaners. In the meantime, you're just part of the full employment program for scammers, and all of us have to suffer because of it.

- Karma is a [***]| 1 replyI would like to take the liberty to help you fine people out of the mess you have gotten your selves into. I am a former employee of this piece of [***] company called Axiom Merchant Services also formerly known as Icon Payment Solutions. The owners name is Sean Mecham the head of sales is a [***] by the name of Jon Cannon his [***] apprentices name is Rj Martoia these two [***] are the ones that work the city of Phoenix Tucson and Prescott or any city close to these they will go as far as there ball licker boss asks them to to go rob small business owners. Now for the record I'm not bashing anyone bc everything in stateingbis true they rob people by offering merchant services contracts starting at 1.29% for offline debit transactions. And 1.65% for credit transactions HOWEVER you will NEVER EVER see either of those rates and in reality you will pay three times that amount not only that of you don't pay close attention you will get signed into a none cancelable lease agreement. YES IT'S NONE CANCALABLE ! It says so on the fuckig lease so no matter what try say about oh yea you can cancel at any time NO you can not is the reality that's why you have to Verify the lease with the lease company where they make you agree on the recording that it's NONE CANCALABLE!!! The reason the lease is so important to this company aka zoo is because this is how Sean stays a float and in business to rob people so PLEASE read carefully what you sign and alway always always take a copy of anything you sign. Now moving on if Jon or Rj try to help you with your POS system and promise to reprogram it trust me they can't and you will only be put into a lease and you will loose hundreds if not thousands of dollars!!!! No Joke no lie they are crooks and thieves who don't even pay their taxes again not kidding trust me. In case you are curious I am not an Gary employee and incase they try to cover this up by saying I'm disgruntled I'll be the one to say I'm not. I'm just getting even with these peices of [***] and makeing sure try get what is comming to them 1 PRISON OR 2 HOMELESS & JOBLESS because they deserve that for robbing so many people and for [***] do many people put of their pay checks! Yes Sean likes to tell people he will pay them what he owes them only to give them a check with no funds and then just not pay them bc he thinks he can what he doesn't know is that I am currently working with a lawyer and Attorney General to make sure he get put in prison for a very long time. In this I have also includes a bonus Jon The [***] cannon and Rj the salad tosser Martioa for all te fraud they committed and yes that is a crime punishable with PRISON so I hope you [***] are reading this and I would love for you to know I WILL make sure you get what is comming to you 3 [***]! Now enough of the fun facts of anyone reading this had been robbed or affected in any way by these [***] please feel free to add a comment asking for Karma to help you and I will give you all the info you need to get out of what ever u got yourself into and make sure Sean, Jon and Rj loose money and hopfully with time everything they own!

- J.J.| 1 replyI never understood any of the complaints and still to this day don't understand them. I have had my account with them for a little over two months and am very happy with the services. Everything the analyst told me on the phone while setting the appointment was true and every thing promised in the meeting with the senior account executive has been accounted for. i of course was quite hesitant at first (have had bad experiences with several merchant services), but fortunately i have saved money. I am now successfully processing my credit cards on the interchange level and am not paying some of the fees I was previously paying when I was processing through my bank.
- Caller: Axiom merchant services
- lt. Dan replies to J.J.R u stupid. axiom does not offer interchange. they get interchange and Jack it up for your wholesale. if you say you are happy with axiom you're in bed with them. fact.
- Sorry I worked thereI am a ex-employee of Axiom Merchant Serices / ICON payment solutions. I worked for the company for 7 months and found out that 99% of the negative things read online about them are true. They will trick you into a 4 year lease on equipment that you can purchase for $200-$300 online. They promise to let you out of the program with the 'Rate and Service garauntee' but they never do. They moment a customer starts being hard to deal with, they screen your call and never get back with you. In the meantime your business is getting charged for everything they screwed you with. Don't ever expect to get a buy-out check. They will promise to pay off your current contract by reimburaing you after you are active 30 days. They will never send it to you. They are not a 'wholesaler' they do not even handle the credit processing. If you look at the paperwork they have you sign, you will see company names such as: FTS, LFG, iPayment or another company. This is because they are another middle man and just take all the profit they can by charging you way more than you actually are paying now. The computer spreadsheet they use to show you "savings" is rigged to mislead business owners into thinking they will save when it fact they won't. The best advice is to stay away from this company at all cost.
