Political call.  I didn't pick up because it looked spoofed; caller ID was "Local Call".  They left a message about a town hall; I do not remember which candidate.

Received 4 calls yesterday, some in 15-minute intervals. Caller ID says "Phoenix AZ." My answering machine is on but no messages are left. Another call came in this morning and I blocked the number.

Got a call earlier today from this number, but since I did not recognize it, and it also displayed "Unknown name" on Caller ID, I ignored it, did not let it roll to voice mail, and eventually the low-lifes gave up.

Has called several more times.  Have discovered it's a boiler room working for one of the two candidates running for mayor in Phoenix.  Not sure if it's for Kate or Danny.

Heard a recorded message that the speaker was a nurse wanting our support to get signatures on a petition in order to get something on a ballot. When the recording said to press 1, I hung up, because "When you get a robocall, don't press any numbers. Instead of letting you speak to a live operator or remove you from their call list, it might lead to more robocalls." This advice is on the FTC's guidance for consumers about scam calls.

Caller ID shows "Phoenix,AZ".  This is  wireless caller, f/Maricopa, Co, (Zip 85006, population 28,267), carrier T-Mobile USA. Of course
left no message, because 'no way' they have valid reason to call.

Didnt answer, no message left.

Scammer claiming to be with town hall wants personal info

I've been receiving calls regularly from this number I was wondering. If it was related to the hurricane season in Florida. Because of so many messages and calls from Florida prior to the hurricane hit this week I the Eastern Mississippi states that deal with this type of insurance.

Why would someone in Arizona be bashing about a hurricane in Florida? And what type of insurance are you talking about?

Didn't recognize number, CID was "PHOENIX AZ", didn't pick up. A partial message (it started before voice mail kicked in) in Kyrsten Sinema's voice (AI?) said: "... to discuss career and technical education opportunities in Arizona. We'll also be taking your questions live. It's free to participate, so answer the phone tomorrow at 2pm to join. Thanks."
