this is a solicitor trying to sell auto warranties

I get a call basically every day from this number. When I answer, no one responds and the call disconnects. I've tried asking to be put on the DNC list by the caller but I still get calls.

I received a call from this number. When I picked up, no one answered. When I called them back it rang a few times before a machine picked up and said "goodbye". Isn't there a lawsuit out now for solicitors calling the DNC list during dinner time?

Have my car for sale and now I am getting scammers calling me and texting me, including this person! Says they want to buy my car but then wants me to run a report on it thru their website. Told him I don't deal with scammers and stop texting me. He ignored me and kept texting as if I didn't just tell him to stop.

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
