left a lengthy message claiming something about an active merchant account, which I do not have. Not sure what the scam is, but be cautious.

I got the same call, active merchant account

This call is about switching your merchant accounts to them. I was fooled once because they made it sound like they were from Chase Merchant Services. It was not until later in the conversation that I realized it was not them. They are now blocked, but they keep changing the number they call from, so I don't pick up 480 area code.

telemarketer  asked name and immediately hung up on me why? how do you run business like this?

Bonnie called from Capital Bank Card wanting to set up a meeting with our administrator & owner. First call came in from 480-389-2302.  The second phone call was to confirm a meeting with Bonnie and above said people came from 937-795-1164; not the 480 number.  Now I am calling Capital Customer Service to confirm that this is a scam.  Just hang up if you get this call!

The number on caller ID was 214-934-1498.  Caller named Valerie claimed to be with Capital Bank Card.  She asked for the business owner by name - I asked if he could return her call and she then gave me the phone number 480-389-2302.

Valerie wanted to talk to “owner” and was evasive .. ultimately she said it was about our credit card merchant account. Called from local number but gave a 480 area code number. Blocked both but looks like it doesn’t matter.

Received call from local area code. Valerie said we had an 'active merchant account'. I confirmed we did not with our Director of Operations. She gave me 480-389-2302 as a call back number. She also seemed agitated when I questioned why she was calling. No reputable business needs to disguise their phone number. Will be diverting calls in the future.

Valerie called asking for our owner, but hesitated as if she needed to look up the name of the person she was asking for.  When I offered to take message, she gave this number (though called in on a local number) and simply said she was with Capital Bank.  Knowing we don't have business with Capital Bank, I know it's a telemarketing/scam call

Voicemail from this number was "Hi this is Valerie with Tsis. I was calling about a review that generated for the business in the merchant services account. There are a few things I need to go over with you. If you could give me a quick call back I can be reached at 480-389-2302. Again that's 480-389-2302. Caller ID showed local number of 513-644-3004

The Voicemail stated- "Hi this is Valerie with Tesis. I was calling about a review that generated for the business in the merchant services account. There are a few things I need to go over with you. If you could give me a quick call back I can be reached at 480-389-2302. Again that's 480-389-2302

This is a "MERCHANT SERVICES CREDIT CARD SCAM" operation.

Got the same call on 1/6/2022. Asked that we call her back about a "review left about our merchant account" call back # 480-389-2302. Scam

Got a voicemail from "Valerie" with an mumbled business name. Stating that she was calling regarding a review about our merchant services account. Call back number 480-389-2302, but called from a local number. I called back out of curiosity and it went to "Valerie's" voicemail.
