Calls at 8:30 AM.  Telemarketing law states they must give their name, company name, and company physical address before soliciting any service.  They do not do this.  Report them to the BBB and it will cost them thousands of dollars.  This company says you have been entered in a sweepstakes.  You have a chance to win money or a car and many other [***] items.  All you have to do is press 9.  By pressing 9 you will be signing up for magazine subscriptions and more for 9.99-29.99 a month billed to your cell phone.  This is why they call your cell.  So they can bill your provider and have you pay it without realizing.  Good luck to you all and hopefully you do not press 9.

This company say "Hi how are you doing" They then realize they are talking to a machine and hand up. This has happened 4 times today.

States wants to speak to registered voter in house. Calls from 480-300-7857 as well. Comes up as SSI on caller ID. Keep blocking but call under new numbers

On my Caller ID was SSI, then 480-389-3132. No message left. To me, SSI means Social Security Disability. Since I'm not on that, wondered what they might want with me. Turns out, it is just another stupid telemarketer, no doubt trying to sell some fly by night thing that I don't need!

Called bit didn't leave voicemail

Called at 7:50pm.  Female with heavy accent first asked for a name, when told she had the wrong number she stated she just needed to speak with an adult and was speaking with one. At that point she was told we were not interested in what was being sold or for that matter anything else and was told not to call again and hung up.

Called late in the evening. I didn't answer the call though, because I don't ever answer unknown numbers.. After seeing the other posts about this number, I'm glad I didn't

They called after 7 pm.
The "interviewer" asked for my wife, wanted her opinion on "local issues".
When I asked what the topic was..."local issues".
I asked again. She hung up.

That would be Survey Sampling-a survey company. 99.99% unlikely it was Social Security

Asked to speak with a tech / computer person, then wanted to conduct a survey about local opinions on technology.

Received this call at 7:30pm. Seems around and after 7pm if I get an unknown call it's always a solicitor.

5 to 6 times a day I see this on my caller ID...  especially early in the morning, around 8am, when I'M JUST FALLING ASLEEP! I work nights! I have my 'old fashioned' answering machine to only pick up calls on 6 rings... they usually ring 4 times and hang up with no message, but it's still so 'effin' annoying!

Caller id said SSI...I answered woman w accent said calling about issues in AZ..she had my correct name

Called around 8:30pm, I live in Illinois, but still have my Az phone number, so I know it's a telemarketer.
