- LuckyCaller claimed to be with firm that assist people to get an higher education. Caller was very elusive to their identity. I asked the caller for specifics of certain schooling program, and caller hung up. Very suspicious call. Glad I didn't give him my name or other personal info.
- Discussed with telemarketers!!!I just got this call again on my trak phone. I get these about 3 times per day. I have asked them not to call on my cell phone because they are using my minutes. Can't get them to stop./ How in the hell do they get this number. I have been applying for jobs and some of the scam artist sell your numbers and email,( I am getting tons of those too.) I am 76 years old and will die before I can get another degree, at 76 why do I need to know more when no one will hire a 76 year old person anyway....

- Consuelo Ramirez| 1 replyReceive daily calls from this number, I have already told them I'm not interested in going to back to school. How do I get them to stop?
- Slim replies to Consuelo RamirezModern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.
Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit your favorite sales site.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers! All that does is verify your phone number! And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar). Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group. - RPGaunKeep getting calls several times a day. I do not answer numbers I don't recognize never leaves message.

- AnnoyedBrooke, calling from a recorded line. It's actually a really convincing computerized robocall. She will get you to try to say "yes" to a number of questions: is this your phone line? can you hear her? listened to the spiel through a few times, kept saying no ... it claims to be either a travel company or a school voucher program sponsored by Doug Ducey.
