As a licensed bonded insured  AZ dealer we have seen this for years , NEVER send a title copy or picture, NEVER Click on a link form a BUYER .  Make them come in person or pass on the offer !!!! Always meet in person for payment in a bank “”Cameras are everywhere”” if they won’t meet - its a scam ! Never take a cashier’s check on a NON banking day ( weekend  Holiday or at night) , Always call branch were the check is issued and verify !!!!!!!!

Or in a police station if they allow it

Have a vehicle listed online for sale. This number contacted me that he was interested and asked for a VDB and gave me a link to click on. He would be over tomorrow and wanted the papers from it when he shows up. There was something sketchy about the whole text conversation. Never clicked the link but I’m assuming its a scam.

Unfortunately fell for the scam and paid $25 to the “title check”. Cancelled credit card ASAP but hopefully nothing else gets stolen!
