Called today requesting donation i said i would consider mailing a donation he wanted to take a payment over the phone i said no and hung up . they callled back about 5 times and i didnt answer .very annoying

Called at 8:14 A.M. EDT.   I didn't answer.  No message.  I'm sick and tired of all these crank calls!!  Our number is on the"do not call" list, which apparently means nothing these days.

Got a call from this number this evening - 3/9/14 @ 6:17 PM. It showed "Out of the Area" and no message was left. I did not expect them to leave a message, so I decided to find out who was calling and looked it up.
Gary said his caller was: st labre indian school - and if so, I do know who they are. I do give them donations during the year. I do NOT appreciate them 'calling' for a donation. I had this happen with another non-profit organization and because I did not who it was (on vacation and the # was directed to cell #), I did talk to them and decided I was NOT going to send a donation. If I want to give a donation I will do it MY way and not from phone calls. I do NOT trust someone calling for a donation, at all. Since this is an organization that are Non-profit, they CAN call, because they are allowed and for some reason (I think) the DNC (Do Not Call) applies to them. In any case, I did not answer and will not answer these kinds of calls and especially when they do NOT leave any messages. Good Luck in thinking we will answer. Thanks Gary for letting others know who was calling.

We give to St Labre, we believe it is a good charity that actually does concrete good for native Americans, but only by check and only if they send us something in the mail.  They have never called us on the phone asking for donations. I'd be wary.

Caller ID read 480-428-2121 at 5:47pm EDT. Did not recognize number so did not pick up, No vmail left. By visiting this site it appears the call is allegedly from or on behalf of St. Labre Indian School. I've donated to this school for many years but never have been solicited by phone. I'll send a donation if I receive a written request, but not over the phone. As someone said be "wary."

Received call yesterday but did not answer. No message left. I see from previous posts that St Labre has been cited as the caller, but St Labre is located in Montana, so any call from Arizona (Phoenix area code) should be considered suspicious.  

St labre is a very reputable charity in Montana they do not harass people by phone this is a scammer

I also have donated to St. Labre School for many years, but always by mail or website.  I would never make a donation over the phone via credit card.  I did not answer the phone when I saw that the call originated from Phoenix, AZ  The school is not in Arizona. BEWARE

Caller ID read Phoenix, 480-428-2121. Did not recognize so did not answer. No message left. It appears from other posts this may purportedly be from St. Labre Indian School. I've contributed to this school over the years but only by mail and never [and never will] by phone.

Telemarketers often keep 50% or more.  4804282121 OR 14804282121 OR "480 428 2121" looks like a professional telemarketer. See whocalld. com/+14804282121 which shows "Donor Privacy Protection Line" and looks like a scam.

So, we will NEVER donate to any charity by phone. DO NOT CALL. We do not respond to any professional telemarketers because we only give directly to charities and only by mail after we thoroughly research your financials online.

Suggest you call the Dnc , post haste,  and opt out to get your numbers removed.  That should make it all better.

The DNC does not apply to charities, surveys, or political calls. It does keep *legitimate* marketers from trying to sell you things over the phone. (Imagine how many calls you would get if not for this! Think about all the TV commercials you see for insurance, credit cards, and cars. Now imagine if they were allowed to call you to try to sell you those things. Oy veh!)

Don't know who this is, but they call about every two days for the past two weeks, and never leave a message.
