annoying calls..never answer but message left says  "this is Dean from phx area and if you are interested in selling your home to call..."

I don't believe this is a PHX area phone number.  I live in Chandler.  When caller ID showed MY number with a
1 in front as the caller, I became suspicious.. Why would they need to call long distance since we are both in the same area code zone?  Earlier, I had seen an ad 0n Facebook for free makeup, so I sighed up, but when I got to the end of signing up it asked for almost $6.00 for shipping and asked for my credit card number .so I signed off.  About two hours later, I got my first phone call I answered (at 11:45).  Being curious, I answered and a man asked If I was (knew my name,) and said I failed to give my credit card number.  I told him I NEVER give my credit card to strangers over the phone, and to take my name off his list.  Then,, at 1:58, I got another phone call, again it had the 1 in front of my phone number.  I didn't answer, but now I have a question:  how was he able to call my phone using my phone number??.  There are at least 3 numbers they are using.
