discover credit card services... I called it back and got their recording..

I called the 800 number for Discover and they verified that it was their collections office in Arizona.

It is Discover Credit Card. They are calling from different numbers, but it won't make me pay them any faster. They will get it when I get it. They call all day long.

480-481-1830 is a credit card scam call. They also use 614-758-2130. They identify themselves as Discover Card and ask for your card number, address, and date of birth. Discover Card says that this is NOT their number and will never call to ask you for this information. Posts on this site saying the calls are legitimate are fakes posted by the scammers to fool you.

Space Cowboy is correct. Both numbers has been calling me as well. I have never had a late payment with them so I was curious as to why they would be calling so much. I just got off the phone with Discover (1-800-347-2683) and they said this number was NOT one of theirs. This sounds like a scam. Any doubts? Call Discover.

 Called, but I got dial tone when I answered the phone.  Caller ID showed IPVOICE.   It may well be Discover as I am a payment behind.

The numbers are associated with Discover. Answered the call on my cell phone from AZ and they took me off their calling list...so far so good. They were actually looking for another person. The 800# disputes existence of these numbers as being theirs because they don't want anyone to know about their "call centers".

I've never had a Discover card, neither has my ex husband. I started receiving calls from both numbers Space Cowboy mentioned but I haven't answered either one to personally find out what the calls were from.

I was 1 day late on my payment to discover. I am currently now. Please stop calling repeatedly at all hours and from diffevent numbers! I was only a day late, good grief !

I just got off the phone with Discover.  THIS IS NOT THEIR NUMBER!  Do not give these people any info!

This is NOT Discover and it IS a scam. The posts claiming it's legit are SCAMMERS.  I get calls from several different Phoenix numbers, none are Discover. My Discover payment is not late and never has been.
I wish I could block the whole damn 480 exchange.

They have been calling me for the past couple of days. I never answer and they never leave a message. I have a Discover card but have never ever made a late payment with them.

3rd day, 3rd call from "Discover". 3 different phone numbers - this one (Phoenix, AZ), a Utah number (801) and toll-free number (800). The 800 number recorded a message. They were looking for Mary Ann or Mary Beth to discuss the account. Needless to say that is not my name.
