Collectors jerks - blocked and DONE. I never answer calls from numbers I do not know.

Collectors, keep calling. I don't answer any calls unless I know the person calling.

Then how do either one of you know that it is a collector?

Discover card collectors.  I've never had a Discover card.  Someone who used to have my phone number did.  These folks are rude and called me a liar.  I asked to speak with a manager, and was told I was already speaking with one.  In no uncertain terms I told them to never call my number again.  Then I downloaded a call blocker and theirs is the first number in my list of callers to block.

It's Discover. I fell behind on payments and the calls started. They will call from a bunch of numbers using the 489-550-**** grouping. If you have Discover, that's why. I will never answer a call from a number I don't recognize.

One of several similar calls.  Keep asking for the same person who doesn't live here.  Says they have important information.  The call back number of 800-973-5095 shows up in all the calls they send from different numbers.

Same experience as you. Say they are Discover Card, but when I call a Discover Card phone number gotten from a reliable source, they say it is not them.
