I have just received 10 calls from this number!  Instead of hanging up on the 10th call, I decided to talk to them & see if I couldn't get them to remove my number.  They say they are a pharmaceutical company trying to verify the addresses of researchers in order to send them a free publication.  Let's see if they actually remove my number!

5 calls over last 3 days.  Never leave message - just breathing/background noise and then they hang up.  Great job.

Name verification service. If you ever move or fall behind payments databases like these come to rescue. It's very profitable business to call people in order to verify where they leave, marital status and so on.
Credit card companies waste a lot of manhours dialing bad numbers. It's much easier to pay third party company for your data.

This comapny is calling to verify a free magazine subscription. After they verify your "free" subscription they send you a bill that states you have to cancel the "free" subscription or they will continue to send the publication and you must pay for it.

They are harrassing, have called over 10 times in 4 hours.  Called and left messages to stop calling.  Don't know who can report them to for harrassment as they are calling my office number.

some idiot calling my job about 20 times a day, never answered because of this site.  Answered the call today after the 20th call and asked the girl what was this about and why do they call so much.  she said she wanted to update some info (for the president of the company) so that he could keep receiving his free subscription.  i asked her does it take 20 calls a day to do this and she says we only called once, maybe its the computer that keep calling back.  i told her shes lying because i personally hang up on them and they call me right back over and over.  told her to make that her last call to this company or im going to personally harass THEM when they call here.  she said ok, we'll seeeeeeeeeeee

They keep on calling, don't leave a message, they call at all hours day and night.  I don't answer since I don't recognize the #.

We get free trade magazines and I think that is where the call is originating.

They call constantly.I receive between 10 and 15 calls a day from this company.I have told them before the person they are asking for does not live here yet they continue to call.

It's illegal for a telemarketer to leave a message. The reason you hear breathing and background noise is because there is a delay before the call comes through to the telemarketer and they weren't paying attention when it did come in.

i got this # on my cell phone but hung up. Then the same # called my office. It's from "Pacesetters" they give away a free insurance magazine.

I have reason to believe erankings.net which is a scam might be connected with these guys.  Got a call yesterday from erankings.net and today from IPACESETTERS 480-553-9079

Called me, recorded msg. so I hung up as if it was important there would have been a live person calling.

I post each and every call I even perceive to be telemarketing and it does no BLODDY good............no one pays attention.  Once posted I can continue to get calls over and over..so much for governemnt intervention,

It's verifying personal information for free trade magazines.  The problem is that if you answer the phone and give your information they sell it to a 3rd party and you get even more calls since they know it's a live number.  They sell your information - so unless you want even more calls you're doomed once it starts.  If you don't answer they continue to call.  If you do answer they can then verify the name and number and sell it to someone else for another telemarketing scheme.    

And from what I've been told it's legal since they have a "business relationship" with you regarding the trade publication they're giving you for free - so they can call you even if you're on the do not call registry.
