We receive calls at home from this number a few times a week.  The recorded message begins "Attention, power company customers."  It says that you can press 7 to stop getting calls, but that does not work.  Help!!!!!

They will NOT stop calling...4/5 times a day. We blocked 1 number...now they call on another one. How do I get them to stop. It is harrassment at this point! 480-316-9455 is the latest # with same recoding!

This robodialer company (Attention Power Company Customers) most likely sells the names and contacts to solar companies.  I finally got tired of it and set an appointment.  The company that came out was Solar Alliance of Nevada and their phone number is 702-551-2151 so I suggest you let them know your displeasure with their contract with a robodialer company.  Some on this site speculate the robodialer company is called Aim High Communication but I don't know for certain.  

The only resolution is for people to call or email companies such as Solar Alliance, and maybe they'll quit taking referrals from robodialers.   They'll probably deny knowing anything about it, but there's no doubt in my mind they know it and just insulate themselves from it.  

Their email is info@solarallianceofnevada.com.  Fill up their inbox and maybe they'll get the same feeling we get when the robodialer calls.

So , these people are calling you because the want to teach you how to get solar ??

I et 2 to 3 of these "Attention power company customers..." calls per day.  I have waited on the phone and asked them to take my number off of the list.  The person on the other end of the line hangs up without a word.

I am getting slammed daily for awhile now by these "Attention power company customers..." ; goes on to say this deal is for those who have "unusually high power bills" and mentions Arizona.
today i dialed through and spoke to someone who quickly hung up on me.

I do not see who called -- but it is the same message as above
(AZ power company, survey, 30-50% savings of power bill).
I receive calls from them every day, often multiple times.

I too have been getting these robo calls for the past 6 months.
Every day and sometimes twice a day.

Like most of you I am frustrated that these calls keep coming and
there seems to be little or no help in stopping them.

I am on the "Do Not Call List", but even though it does help in
keeping the volume of telemarketer calls down it will not
help with this call.

Call blocking can be limited in this situation as the callers
number changes all the time or is spoofed.  Also, if you don't
subscribe to "Caller ID" you cannot block the calls at all.
You should not have to subscribe to "Caller ID" to try and
eliminate these calls as it costs you money to try and stop
unwanted calls even though you are on the "Do Not Call"
registry.

If you press "1" or "5" as directed in the recorded message,
you are simply alerting the caller that there is a live person
at the number called and they will persist in calling.

Going on this site and posting messages like.
"These incessant calls -- several per day -- are ridiculous.  
STOP CALLING -
it is offensive and only serves to make me angry."

or

"We get this call virtually every day. "Attention power
company customers". We are on the do not call list. Please
help put a stop to these annoying calls."

or

"I am sick and tired of wasting my time getting calls from
this number.
I am sick and tired of wasting my time getting calls
from this number.
I am sick and tired of wasting my time getting calls
from this number.
I am FURIOUS over getting repeated calls from this number."

will accomplish absolutely nothing.

You, me, and everyone else who is getting these calls must
report these calls to the FCC and the Attorney General of
your state.  It takes a few minutes of your time to file
a report, but if enough people file reports with the FCC
there may be some action taken against these robo calls.
My suggestion would be to fill out the complaint forms
on line to the FCC and AG and file a report each and every time
you get one of these calls.  The FCC has the ability and power
to stop them but only if they get enough complaints from
people like you and me.  When they get tired and overwhelmed
with the volume of complaints on these calls, they may
act and shut this robo call site down.

I have culled a lot of information about the robo calls from

the bottom.  I am going to send this info to the FCC and
the AG every day that I get one of these calls.  This can all
be automated with your computer.  You should also use the
below information and send it daily to the FCC and AG.  Change the
subject line each day so that they don't mark your submission
as spam.

If you take no action and just whine on this site then you
are condoning these robo calls and will continue to get them.
You must take positive action - report to the FCC, the AG, and
any of the companies listed below that have been associated
with these calls.  Send emails to all companies listed each
and every day you get the robo call.  If they get tired of getting
your email, they may also take action against the robo caller.
Negative posts to the companies involved will in the long run
affect their business and they should want to stop negative
reports about their company if they are reputable.

Another option is to use Google to find abandoned properties
and use the "1" key to speak to a person and schedule an
appointment to the abandoned property.  Do not use your real name
and if you do this multiple times, use different names and
different addresses.

You may think these options are extreme, but unfortunately,
the victim (you and I) get no help from the phone company or
anyone else.  It's just like being a victim of identity
theft.  No one helps you clear your name and your record.  You
must invest your own time and money to do that.  Victims
seldom or if ever have any rights.

Am getting 5-10 calls each day. no response of any kind. Is there any way to stop these clowns?

These people call me daily. I finally pressed 1 to talk to them and as I was telling them to stop calling me, the man hung up on me.

They are harassing people.  Regardless of the message, that is not the right approach.  You are also a [***].

They call all the time, more than once a day, they are a huge nuisance.

I have received 10 calls in the last 7 days from this telemarketer. Three of them today were within a 2 hour period.  All calls were from the same number, 480-280-8848.  In the past, I have pressed 5 to stop the calls, but it hasn't worked.  So this last week I have pressed 1 every time I get a call, but no one will come on to set up an appointment.  I just want to talk to a real live person.  Why would they keep calling if they don't want to make an appointment?   Isn't this considered harassment?  If the FCC or the AG can't get this stopped, who can?
