According to another reputable reporting site, this is a scam.  "They" have been reported in various locations and now seem to be in Arizona.  Said to likely be based in India, rumored to be associated with the infamous IRS scams among several others.  We had a feeling it was trouble when the prefix came up as 666.  Better the devil you know...

Called today. Did not answer and no message was left. Yes, the 666 was a clue not to take the call.

no message, but like the others, the 666 was a topic of discussion in my home! HAHA~~ scammers are the devil!

I too am suspicious of the 666 as well...so I blocked all the 480-666-xxxx numbers.

We have not answered this phone since January so I can garantee you this is a scam call.  That is all that call our home number anymore so we have transitioned all our doctors and must answer numbers to our cell phones.  We still don't answer unknown numbers on our cell phones.  I thought this might be a call from the devil but no, the caller ID said SERVICE. lol!!!   I still think they are related to the devil.

These SCAMMERS can't even spell correctly - "Servive" !!! What a joke.....just another REEKING STINKING telemaggot. No message left on the machine. Sure sign of a SCAM!!! Plus using that 666 number is a sure sign of a FRAUD!!

Just received a call from the same number. This young man sure had a lot of information about my address, how long I had lived here, etc. Said he was inducting an inquiry with The City of Phoenix. I told him they could send me a certified letter if they needed information. He said they want to make my home more efficient. I asked if they were selling solar? He replied "do you want solar" I said NO. He asked when the last time I had my house painted. I told him it's being painted now. Told him to lose my number & hung up. He was a persistent little thug. There a a lot of numbers that come in as Servine which probably should read Service with 666 number. Come to think of it, he sounded like the devil.

SERVIVE should up in Caller ID.  " Linda" from Energy Management.  Told them to stop called.  Won't take No for an answer.

lol, SERVIVE, calls me once a week even though their number is now blocked and they don't even get to talk to my fax machine.  The phone now just hangs up on them and they still call once a week.  They will never talk to anyone at this number.  AS* Holes.  I saw in NYT, 600 people arrest in Mumbai, India for IRS scams they have been running out of India on people in the US.  Too bad they didn't get these losers as well.

Sorry, forgot to add that I looked up the 666 and that is an exchange in Scottsdale/Mesa, AZ in the 480 Area Code.

Yeah right, going to answer Private Caller with a 666 number, these beggers are ridiclous, and why woykdnt it be nothibg but a scam since the number shows up as out of area since its my area code, the gall of beggers.

From now on I will just hit the "Talk" then the "Off" button on my phone.

Called several times last month from 480-666-8276.

Displays as "private caller" plus the number.  Like I'm even going to answer it!  (Getting to be a semi-regular, along with "women" from RI.)
