- A. MouseCold-call sales person. Called and asked for (while butchering) the name of someone who hasn't been at this company in years, kept asking probing questions, refused to say where he was calling from. NOPE! Do not pass the gatekeeper, do not share your sales pitch, just keep on rolling by, dude.
- Caller: "Harlan"

- Go AwayCaller claims name is Chuck Harlan with SCR in Chicago. Caller ID area code that came up conflicts with stated info from "Chuck Harlan." Wanted to talk to owner. Asked nature of call, wouldn't give any info. Apparently just another telemarketer or investment pitcher. It's 2014, does ANYONE buy from people pitching stuff over the phone anymore?

- ALHave received several calls from this number - displays "Harlan" on caller ID - he asks for the long-retired company president (butchering his name of course) and when I say he's retired, he asks for "the current president". I politely began to ask for more info and he gets in a huff, says "I'll find out who I need to speak to" and hangs up on me. Bye!
- Caller: "Harlan"

- KathyAsked if my direct supervisor was still the principal. I asked who was calling, identified himself as Chuck Harlan, and hung up when I put him on hold. He has called for multiple people in my office in the last couple weeks. Figured it was a cold call of some sort.
- Caller: Harlan
- ReceptionWe were purchased by another company a few years ago and we've recently begun answering the phone using the new company name. Harlan cold-called us but kind of spaced out, then said he thought he had the wrong number and hung up. I think he was stumped by the name change. Was wondering if it was a business so I looked the number up and found this, so it doesn't look like much was lost. Not sure what he was calling about but if you don't even know our company's name then it must not have been very important.

- MLThis "gentleman's" name is Harlan Grabowsky out of Scottsdale AZ. Asked for the owner, by name, as if he knew him. Of course, I asked him what his call was in regards too. Claimed it was a "business" matter and not sales related. He refused to give any further information. Too bad he'll never get to talk to the owner...without giving me the exact reason for his call. Period. What a joke this idiot is. I've read alot of these posts and he changes his name but basically each time gives little information.
- Caller: Harlan Grabowsky
- MLUPDATE: Harlan Grabowsky owns Radio Services in Scottsale AZ. Here's what they do...just in case this idiot calls your company. He told me when he called it was not a sales call. Yeah, whatever, Harlan.

- NatThis guy, "Chuck Harlan", calls our company multiple times a month, always sounds irritated/rushed/too busy to deal with me... He asks for the president of the company to which I generally reply he's not available. He then hangs up and i can usually expect him to call back in a couple weeks. I'm going to start telling him the president has been abducted by aliens... you wanna scam me? I'd be happy to do it right back.

- SandyThis person has been calling our office for YEARS!! You think he would stop by now. I am going to stop his calls altogether now. Putting his number in the block phone number list. So tired of being pestered by people being pushy and rude. So much time is taken up adding scammers to the block list. This should be a phone company problem not us. They created all this by letting Joe Blow get a phone number that is just to easy to fake out unsuspecting people. Spoofing, scamming, showing real names but not that place or person at all. Still trying to figure outside of annoying the hell out of people what Robo calls are accomplishing calling your phone and never says a word and hangs up. Same as the car warranty, Microsoft, IRS and the medicare calls, sick of those also. Okay done complaining about all this. I feel bad for real sales people, but at least those people will tell you why they are calling.
