i didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer and they left no message.  Caller ID said "Conshohocken, PA"

Just got a call from this number, no info, and not from anyone I know.   Didn't bother to answer this one.

We never answer numbers we don't recognize. If this is the back brake device I actually had the same call from a New York number half hour before this one.

This is a very old scam.  As usual, they're trying to get your financial info.

Caller ID = 484-243-9095 - CONSHOHOCKEN, PA ---- called here at 12:45 PM -- I answered because I have friends living in Conshohocken, but couldn't remember their number.  A recorded message in a female voice tone said that they were calling me because I had called them about some back brace.  "Back brace!!!"  Those words are a red flag to me.  Had I not answered this call, I would not be able to tell you what the call is about.  QUESTION: How do these scammers know, [1] who is a senior citizen, and [2] your landline number?  I don't believe that they are robocalls; nor do I believe Medicare isn't giving out our telephone numbers like candy.  These calls have a specific target .... senior citizens.  They get around the DNC List by saying you called them first, when you didn't.  Had it been a real live human being, I would have conversed with them in fluent German, explaining that I do not speak English.  German is not a language that a great many people speak like Spanish.  "Auf Wiedersehen Betrueger!!!"

Called looking for an employee of mine but then asked for my name which i found odd.

"Important information" about a back brace which I don't need and didn't order.  A medical scam.

Call came in at 11:10 this morning.  Caller I.D. showed Med Clinic and the number.  We've finally gotten a phone where we can block calls.  Hallelujah.  I've been blocking these nuisance calls left and right.  I think I'd better check to see how many I can block before I run out of space.  Tired of it.

$cumbags at it again with an important message about my back brace...hold on Apu, I'm still waiting on my medical alert, my face cream, my alarm system, my septic tonic, my lower interest rate, my $14,000 grant, my pre-approved  business loan, my windows virus fix and I'm running out right now to get my Green Dot card so the IRS doesn't arrest me.
