yes.... No message and a  call from this number

got a call from this number. Got another 6 calls from different numbers around the east coast yesterday and today. What gives? Always no response.

Same here, I get calls from the east coast as well.

Same here and they are driving me nuts.  Phone hasn't stopped all day. Saw elsewhere this number comes back to some technical school trying to recruit students but I'm not completely sure about that.

Figured it out, I answered a add for car extended warranty coverage.  I figure that is what started all the calls that I have been getting from all over all of a sudden

If you do not need to answer your phone and can screen, this is the greeting we use.  So far, although the calls are still coming, it at least tells them they will NEVER reach us because we're screening and will not answer unknown calls.  Otherwise, they keep calling back hoping they'll catch you.  This way, however, you're TELLING them up front that they will NEVER reach you, and so if they choose to continue calling, they're just wasting their time. I might add that we also have caller ID, therefore we know if the caller is someone we want to speak with.   Here is our greeting:  "Hello - please be advised that all calls are screened.  If we do not recognize your telephone number or your name, we will not answer the call.  You may, however, leave a message.  Thank you."  Hope this helps!

These are calls from online universities,watch what you click on while doing job searches or looking at online schooling.

I get calls all day and angrily answered. Some guy from an online school. I never signed up for this so it's likely phishing.

Someone is selling phone #'s, then you receive a call to see if you answer. if so scammers will begin to call you. Don't answer if you don't know the party.

I have gotten multiple calls from this number with no voice mails.  I dont answer calls on my cell from numbers i dont know.

This number was a late call  I did not answer, also there is another calling from Canada ?  WHY

I have been a member of the Nat'l. Do Not Call Registry since its' inception.  Once before when I started getting calls from unidentified numbers that left no message I called them.  The lady I spoke with at the DNCR said it's the responsibility of the company calling to check the DNCR every 30 days.  What a stupid rule.  Why would they want to call to learn they couldn't call you anymore.  So........the responsibility is for the calling company to follow the rules.  Yeh! Right.  I do not answer calls that aren't identified.  They need to leave a message if they expect me to respond or not.

I think most of us do not answer calls that aren't identified.  I also think most of us who still have landlines have Caller ID.  That doesn't discourage those who are calling for whatever reason.  Your cell phone automatically prints the calling # unless they have it set up as unavailable or unknown or Restricted.  They don't get answered either.  I do call my cell phone provider & they will block the numbers that are identified if you ask them to.  Had 2 blocked today & 2 blocked 2 days ago.  Try that if the calls persist.  One called me 4 times in less than 30 minutes this morning.  Probably is an auto-dialer.

They called and thanked me for requesting more information about going to college online. I just told them I'm already enrolled in school and I didn't fill out a form. The guy apologized and I haven't heard from them since.
