I have received the same phone call and I want to know is this number fraudulent

I got a message from this number, too. As a rule, any official information regarding federal student loans, are communicated via U.S. mail. Don't get scammed!

I have received the same phone call, did some research and found out it is a SCAM. Beware, do not give out your information.

Received a call on 2/19 with the name of Megan without giving last name and what kind of student relief program.  Definitely a scam!

Same. Just a few mins ago. Very lifelike robo call.

Received a robocall and was directed to this suspicious phone number to call back and speak to a live receptionist about student loan forgiveness from national election.

SAME HERE! Same day!! Same person!!

I got this call today, and my name was Megan so I had to double check...

"Megan" calling from "Student Loan Relief" about student loans.  This is an obvious phishing scam.  The recorded message was interrupted by my voicemail greeting and you could hear it start over.  This was the callback number given - they called from a different number: (208) 563-3517.  DO NOT ANSWER!

my mom got a call from this number & they left a voicemail. she showed it to me bc she thought it was important and i immediately knew it was a scam. you could hear the recording start over in the beginning. "megan" was very vague talking about how we qualify for loan forgiveness. scam scam scam.

I just checked my voicemail and it said Megan also. No last name, no company name, NOT even MY name was mentioned in the 1st "Hi _____, this is Megan..."

I’ve gotten calls like this for years which I knew was a scam but I actually do have student loans that I took out last year. I’m glad to know others have gotten this scam from this number as well because I don’t want to miss any real calls and I don’t trust any unknown number these days. I got a call a few days ago from a student loan scammer that specifically mentioned President Biden.

Got the same voicemail as everyone else, vague robo call about “student loan relief”. The number that came up on the caller ID didn’t match the number left in the voicemail. Which is always a big red flag. Number on ID was (470) 397-2836 (a Georgia number) vs. the number left in the voicemail... (501) 274-0454 (Arkansas number). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got a call from Megan. Called back and didn’t say nothing the automated call said they would place me on a do not call list.
