Another sales scam to hang up on and block

Caller ID states "Humanan" seems like a scam as a legit call would not mis-spell the name.

Interesting that it says HUMANAN  Big tip off that it is a scam... What can't even spell the name of your so called company correctly...

Called my landline on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10:41am EST.  Left no message.  Caller ID said "HUMANA INC."

this is third call from this number, with no response when I pick up.  Blocked the number.  But I doubt this is from Humana.  My caller ID says Humanan (yes with an "n" at end,) Health.  I wasn't surprised to not have someone on the line.....a scam.

Called my landline on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 10:28am EST.  Left no message.  Caller ID said "HUMANA INC."

This is a greatreason to avoid Humana. Get 3 to 5 calls a week over the oast month. No message. When # is called back you're connected to a Humana Agent trying to sell you Humana plans. Blocked the # but get constant notices on phone that a call was blocked (yay Verizon). E.g. got call notices on Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. Called Humana customer service, they said Humana is not reaching out to me. Not true. The salesmen identify themselves as Humana Agents. Humana's acting like the rabid contractors you called when you needed new gutters.

Insurance scam

It is possible that the person claiming to be a Humana representative really isn't. I've received calls from people claiming to be from my phone company but further research reveals they're actually calling from a reseller or third party and not the company they claim to be from.

This number called me work line yesterday, but there was silence on the other end for roughly 30 seconds before the call ended.

Keeps calling.  Leaves no messages.  I never answer as I don;t know who it is.

Correct! Humana Group wouldn’t call themselves unless someone requested a call back from them. That said there are a lot of people around the country that will and do so because they are Independent Contractors for insurance agencies. I’m  pretty sure they are paid by Humana or other insurance companies for signing people up for the services of the providers. I don’t agree with the tactics of big corporations but the same is used by the majority of big businesses because there’s money to be made.

I didn’t request Humana to call me, and this number called me as an Independent Contractor representing Humana Group,Inc., and that’s Not a practice condoned by that company. The caller ID said Humanan and I called it back to hear the response and then I spoke to an agent “Maddie” from FL and had her to update the system letting them know I’m on the National Do Not Call list. Each future call they make to me will be filled appropriately and they can be fined up to $1500.00/per call for violating the FCC regulations.

Called at 4:25 pm.  Caller ID listed "Humana Inc."  Left no message.  ...I don't know whether this was a spoofed scam call or Humana's marketing branch trying to peddle their healthcare plans.  They used another phone number a few weeks ago to phone, until we blocked that phone number.  No way are we going to talk to a scammer or a telemarketer. This number will be blocked, too.
