This is a dangerous one. BEWARE!!!
The number, no doubt spoofed, is, ostensibly, a Louisville, KY number. It is aimed at getting your money by threatening that if you do not call them, you will be visited by a sherrif, who will come to your house tomorrow to serve you a warrant. And the scammer claims the media will be informed.

Well, first off, the supposed number is in a state that, in my case, is quite a long distance away. If a warrant was to be issued--Which it is Not--it would be a local magistrate, and they are never going to warn you in advance of their coming.

I strongly suggest that anymore receiving this, or a similar call, report it to the Attorney General of your state.

4/15/2021 - call saying a warrant for our arrest will be served Friday between 3-5 PM.  If they dp not get a signature it will be turned over to the local sheriff's office.  This was sent twice yesterday!  No company name...
