This is an old one. Commercial Lighting. Usually calls from a Florida number. They'll ask who's in charge of maintenance because they're either trying to sell you something or running a scam. I've been hearing from this folks off and on for 20 years now.

It's been a while since I fished any information out of them but I'm fairly sure they're trying to submit an invoice for something you never ordered or received. Remember folks, don't tell the telemarketers anything.

Individual by the name of Jimmy inquiring who was in charge of maintenance.  I asked for his call back number and told him I would take a message for maintenance. (I already had his number on caller ID) He started yelling and said "that's not what I asked you".  I told him he was rude and he hung up.

Jay, I had the same experience. Their BBB report has a nasty convo with a client who never received any product.

As above - Scammy guy asking for the maintenance person. Kept asking for names and got rude when I told him the call was wasting my time. He called back immediately.

Call asked for who was in charge of maintence, said he lost his cell phone although was calling me. He told me to leave a message that Jim called for my service department.

He keeps calling and saying he's "Jim, the lighting guy". He calls multiple times a week for our facilities manager and i always send him to voice mail. I finally asked him why he keeps calling because our maintenance guy obviously doesn't want to talk to him and he got all mad and said "Well why doesn't he tell me himself? I thought he was supposed to be the man!" and he hung up on me.

Asked for name of facilities manager by first name, but then when asked his name he said "Jim" rudely and when asked last name he said "Dean". Asked what the name of his company was and he said "Its the lighting guy".
