4/9/2015 - This person did all the same as others have said. contacted my cell phone. He had a heavy accent (Indian maybe?), said my computer was throwing errors and reporting them and asked if I was the PC owner. He said he worked for Microsoft Technical support and that they handle error issues related to the Windows operating system. I told him I was not home and asked for name and number I could contact, rather than him calling me back, per his request  The incoming phone number on my caller id was: (503) 020-5657.  The contact number the scammer provided was: (347) 305-2010.

Got same call, same bs questions.  It was a female with thick accent....so.....I spoke with a heavy breathing voice and asked "what she was wearing".  She hung up for some reason.

No reason you can't have fun with these idiots.

I got a call from this no. 503-020-5657, a lady voice,saying that my computer is sending wrong signals and she can help me fixing that problem. I asked her the IP ADDRESS of my computer, if she's getting any signals. She hung up saying "sorry we got wrong information". This is trash and totally scam.Just tell them to shut up and get lost.

sounded like indian and told me something was wrong with my  computer,and when I asked him what kind of computer do I have,he did not know , then he said it was my windows,then I told him when my computer blows up  i will send it to him and then he hung up.

I got  the same calls as listed above. A man with a heavy  accent saying that my computer has issues and telling that he is tech support for windows.    I got these calls  daily for weeks, then,  once per week on Saturday afternoons.   Now i get the calls, but no one speaks.

Same as several above with one cute difference. When I told him I didn't have a windows machine, it's a Mac, he said next time he calls back, he'll say he's from Apple.

Called has a a bad accent and said he was calling from Microsoft. He said they had received tons of serious error messages from my computer that needed to be addressed. I said ok thank you, I'll fix those issues myself (i knew this was a scam). He then tried to say that my computer could crash any moment now, blah blah blah. I ended up hanging up on him.

Did not recognize number so I did not answer. Searched number on internet and found out it's a scam. Blocked number to prevent anymore calls.

Received a call from this number, claiming to be from "I Fix" and that my computer had sent out an error message that it needed to be fixed.  I am a retired peace officer with experience as an investigator for the state attorney general's financial crimes division.  I told him that this was a scam, he is a criminal, that I was going to trace his call and put him in prison and he immediately hung up.  There is a way to spoof numbers to appear different from the number they are actually calling from but this did not ID as such, so this call did indeed originate in Oregon.
