- James Hill replies to MikeCHello- I'm having messy issues with Seterus, Inc. If a class action lawsuit is filed, count me in too!... Seterus, Inc. is looking out for one person and one person only. THEMSELVES! I've got a stack of complaints against them with major state and federal agencies. The BBB also. Get the word out on facebook about Seterus, Inc. and the crap they have put people through!... ;)
- Katie replies to MikeCI would be more than happy to sue Seterus. They are unmanageable.

- Craig replies to MikeCI had may mortgage put into the wrong parcel by the county where I live for my property tax. My check went into paying a client of Seterus when their check was returned. Seterus has my $1000 and still has not returned the check. Several agencies are working on this, but Seterus seems to be lacking any ethical guidance and an ability to communicate. It has been over 4 months and they still have not rectified the situation. Any law suit against this company would be a welcome sight at this point.
- Lisa replies to EricaI totally agree with you. My loan was transferred to Seterus. I never miss one payment or late and the company called to my office and ask me if I am having trouble paying my loan. They are impolite and treat you like you owe them something. If you have loan with Seterus. Check you statement carefully and they will screw up the number big time. They do not help you because they don't care. Refinance your mortgage if you can.

- Scott S replies to EricaI finally have the Whistle Blower division of the CFPB investigating Seterus for massive violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. It took months but they're actually doing something.
I've learned that Seterus is much worse than that with attempts to manipulate homeowners into default, adding fees unjustified by state or federal law to the mortgage payment, false reasons to justify denial modifications and intentionally delaying posting of payments in order to collect late fees. Now that I've got the CFPB's ear, and that I've come to despise Seterus so much, I'm trying to collect evidence of this frauds and violations to expand their investigation.
If you have documentation of anything like these, please send it to me, along with your story and your contact information, to wingerone@rcn.com.
Another recommendation. If you can, use online banking to send your payment to Seterus to unquestionably document your payment. Send your payment in at least a week early, preferably earlier. This will be irrefutable evidence of their fraud and abuse.
Let's nail these guys. If we can get enough, we might be able to put them out of business altogether. Seterus is not the only one playing these games. We can become an example of how others can fight back against these companies that believe themselves to be untouchable and invincible. Let's prove they aren't. - Lj replies to MikeCDid you start a class avtion. Please give me info.
- gary b replies to Julie TappI'm definitely interested in a class action law suite against seterus they should be closed down
