I got a call from this number and they left a voicemail.  The person was calling to verify rental history for someone that lived in a condo I own.  He is trying to buy a home, so they are working out the loan information.

I got a call from this number I am buying a home and they wanted info on my student loan. They told me they were from Wells Fargo, which now I know they are not.

This is Credco who works with Wells Fargo to provide and validate credit report information.  Often underwriting will require some information be validated or updated on a credit report and Credco will contact the borrower (or other interested party) to meet the underwriter's condition.  Failure to respond may result in your (or the borrower's) loan to not go through.

Yes, this company is calling to verify your info listed on the credit report. Just called me in reference to my student loans, and I'm working with Wells Fargo.

I got a call @ 9:30pm from a woman who could barely speak English.  She tried to get my social and a few other docs.  I did not understand much that she said however I did pick out that she said Wells Fargo and loan.

Yes, this is a vendor that works with Wells Fargo, I know as I am an employee.  They are just trying to verify information pertaining to your credit and is not a solicitation.

Keep calling my cell # even after I told them to stop!  I am on the National DO NOT CALL list. I'm on a pay-per-call plan and this COSTS me $$$!

'Call back' supposedly to "Emily" spoken TOO quickly. Must be a recording.  Sounds like  8772169120 ext 5108. This is a fax # belonging to someone. (NOT web searchable at this time.)  

My cell carrier looked up the origin (envelope) of the call.  =503-403-6364:  Turns out their number is really 8772169150.  

Please call them immediately and often!!!: They CONTINUE to waste MY $$$. WASTE A LOT OF THEIR TIME!!!

I just got a call from this company stating that Wells Fargo had asked them to call me and update one of my credit card accounts over the phone.  Wells Fargo has all that information already, so I KNOW this was a SCAM call.  Don't give these people any information over the phone.
