I received a text saying MasterCard Notice call 503-455-5009, I called the number and they wanted me to give them my social security number

just got text about my MasterCard and to call this number. I do have one, but from everyone else's responses to this number it seems like a scam so I didn't call back.

I received a text message:  ([WellsFargoNotification]- Call (503) 455-5009) [CB]4555009
at 4:27 PM on 06/03.  I did not call, thinking this was a scam.  My search came to your website with people commenting about it as a phishing number.

wells fargo notification, they wanted my acc,,, and social..

Got the mastercard alert. Figured it was a scam... mostly because I don't have a mastercard, and if someone had opened one in my name, who would be dumb enough to use MY phone number?

I got a message from there [***] like someone is going to give out there ss card and account number this is a low life [***] scamming money from honest people
