They call frequently. Finally bought a phone that can be programmed to block calls. It answers and hangs up on them.

Play along with them, and you get the following:

Caller: You have won a prize (car, cash, cruise, jewelry) - call our toll-free number with you credit card handy to claim it.

Me: Why do I need a credit card to claim a free prize?

Caller: To get your "free" prize you must purchase our vitamins.

@WestArk - No I haven't received calls from those places.  
I got received about 10 more calls.  They were all the same . . . I would say hello and they would listen.  Finally I asked nicely to please not call my number any more because this was becoming a hassle.  Believe it or not - I haven't gotten a call since.

I keep getting called from this number and they say they are from amercian health assco. They hang up on me.....

503-468-5011  How can these calls be stopped.  Perhaps send the information to your State's Attorney General or better yet, the Federal Attorney General.

I'm getting daily calls with no message....... seems alot of folks are getting the same type of calls.  Careful, maybe a scammer or phisher.  Happy Holidays................................

Ok this number called my house and my mother answered, a male voice asked, "Is this Ms.******?" and my mother said that yes it was, then the male voice asked if she was alone! My mother was shocked and just said "What??!" and then the male voice said "This is your lover, don't you remember me?"

UGH this is disgusting and scary! Obviously some low rent hackers got a hold of people's names and numbers and are going on a scam/prank calling spree.

Also, this number is apparently from Oregon, and I live in a southern state. Where did they get my house number from??

A man from this number called my mom, asked if it was her, then asked if she was alone! My mom was shocked by that question, I mean....why would a caller ID like American Health ask if you were alone? Then the man said "This is your lover, don't you remember me?"

I have been receiving the phone call that I am one of 5 winners ( yep a car, fully loaded Bassboat, jewelry, cash or vacation)    All I have to do is buy $400 worth of vitamins. But the only difference is the phone number they call me from is 1-213-814-1484.  But it is the same American Health Associates.
  So beware everyone they are using other phone numbers too.       GRRRRRRR I hate pushy people and companies.

How can I stop them from calling my phone number?

i just wanted to let you know i just recieved my award from them. there american health associates. i recieved the 2300 dollars in the mail the other day. i am glad i made the purchase of the vitamins.

Using my Google Voice number when I fill out forms has begun to pay off. Now when I get spam calls, I can mark it as spam and ignore the calls automatically. No idea who this is, but they're only getting through to me once.

Once I answered my cell & heard the voice it al came back to me. . this is not the 1st time "American Hea.." has called me. . I must agree sounds as if they are trying to get the hours of when I'm home. This last call he asked I get a pen & paper to write a few things down. I advised him I was walking my dog & he chucked. . then asking what kind of dog I have. I advised him an APBT (American Pit Bull Terrior). That threw him off as well. My research shows this number & prefix out of Astoria, Oregan;Level 3 Communications.

I keep getting calls from this number on my land line (319-462-3075).  The phone rings once or twice and hangs up.  I was able to answer one time and the person on the line didn't seem to know what was going on.  I asked him to remove me from their call list before he hung up.

I answered the phone and just decided to wait it out if the caller would say anything. A white man said,"Is this First Name and Last Name and I shouted yes because the phone was on speaker then he hung up. So everyone who is being called by this number they at least have your full government name. I also remember being called about some product that is supposed to help you lose weight I'm not sure if it was from this number or another one. I asked to be placed on their DO NOT Call list so probably they can't mention the product to me be my phone number is still in their system. Think back was this number first a advertisement for a weight lose product? OR is the another way for the government to monitor our lives? May be he wasn't even talking to me when he said is this Jane Doe maybe he was talking to another spy. This person held the phone for SEVERAL MINUTES before speaking one word.

I also have been receiving the same annoying calls. Tried dialing 1 to stop it. I think I have even received more calls since doing that. I also have contacted the FCC but apparently that is as effective as telling the neighbor dog.  If it doesn't stop, I will be changing my number.

This number calls me every single day and when I answer they don't say anything. They call about the same everyday I just want it to stop.  I called the number back and it said to press 1 to get off of there list so I did, but nothing yet.

using same#-caller ids:'american health', 'cnam' (message-'....final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus...), 'unknown name.  I called back at nite to see what message I got-"we're sorry, but we're unable to determine the telephone number you are calling from. Please call back with any call blocking features disabled if you wish to utilize this system to opt out of future calls. Thank-you, and have a nice day."  Ironic, isn't it?

Forgot--Cnam#-253-246-8528.  Exactly the same message tho (when I called back at nite) as the #503-468-5011.
