Cale in on cell as "Private Caller" , no name id.  Number calling was supposedly 503 482 7531 in Sandy, OR.  Called it back. Phone company intercept: I am sorry.  You have reached a  number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service.  Obviously the caller ID was "spoofed" must be a  telemarketing scammer.

Recorded message about Furnace duct cleaning and furnace maintenance.

Had this number call several different times, I think once they left a recorded message but the most recent has been a hang up after the leave a message recording came on.

Number is disconnected and no longer in service - all calls appearing from this number are forged and suspect.  Current scam is a recorded message for furnace and duct cleaning.

This is The Duct Guys LLC.. and they got your number from ANGIES LIST!!!!!

Well then why is everyone reporting the number as out of service?  Did they go out of business already?

I've never even been to or read from that website?   How do you know this The Duct Guys LLC are getting numbers this way?

I've received this called, 5x today!! When I call the number it automatically ends the call and says "Unassigned Number".

Left message, about $39.99 furnace duct cleaning.  Scam as the number is disconnected and no longer in service.  Blocked the caller.

This phone number is claming to be someone they are not! This is fraud! Please collect as much information about the caller and notify the Attorney General for the state of Oregon ASAP. THIS IS NOT DUCT GUYS!!!

Don't waste your time. The number was spoofed and the call could have come from just about anyone in the world with the right equipment.
There needs to be some work done here by the FCC or whoever controls the screwed up phone system.
Just an FYI, calling 503-482-7531 will just get you a recording that the number has been disconnected.

My caller id lists blocked numbers that attempt a call. This number has been blocked for awhile, but still they try to call from time to time. No message and nothing but "Private caller" on the caller ID.

I was curious what you use to block numbers. I have CenturyLink and I have a limit of 25 #'s to block or 25 #'s to be forwarded.
I choose to forward them to a disconnected # in hopes that it will get me off there FN list.
Wonder if I forward their calls to the police would get me in trouble or them?

Voicemail message indicates this call was for duct cleaning. No call-back number on the message, and the number that showed on caller ID is not in service.

Have received several of the 'duct cleaning' calls, all from 503 area number (which is my area code). I'm also on Century Link and have maxed out the 25 numbers that I can block using their service. About 6 months ago, I purchased the T-Lock call blocker (via Amazon). This device sits between your phone line and your phone, and allows blocking of 1500 numbers (most numbers, once blocked, never ring through)! As I receive scam/telemarketer/unwanted calls, I simply add the numbers to the T-Lock device - and I never hear from those numbers again. Best purchase I have made in a long time. T-Lock has dramatically reduced the number of junk calls I receive each day. Of course, the scammers always find new phone numbers to call from, so I still receive junk calls; but quickly add new numbers to the T-Lock and quiet prevails for a few days.

Please don't forward to the police. There IS a crime called misuse of 911. The police will not be amused.

Yup, duct cleaning message daily and several times a day too. Off I go to make a report to the Do not Call List folks.

We do not answer any call if we don't know who it is.  This is one such call.
They call and leave a recorded message daily.  No company name.
Message is: "to a single furnace we will also include a free dryer vent cleaning to prevent fire hazard and a free furnace inspection"

Again with this number,  Air duct cleaning!   Go AWAY!!!
