They called for my mom saying that the business was about me, a 15 year old kid, and said it was confidential

Called asking for my daughter who has not lived at home for more than 7 years.  Did not disclose reason for call.

very rude people to deal with!

One of the accounts they handle is for return check collections for Kaiser Permanente/oregon.
The agent handling calls at 503-528-2275 is Becky Walton, her voicemail is computer generated and just indicated the person answering calls at ext 221 is not available, please leave a message.

When asked -  she said due to FDCPA she is not allowed to leave more specific information with a message for you.  I tried to call her at least 4 times today between 11:40AM -1:40PM PST, before she finally answered.

(I read the FDCPA and possibly she is referring to the "communication with third parties" or "contact by embarassing media" clauses, which say she cannot leave a message that others may hear that would embarass you..  

(Which she should be able to satisfy those requirements with FDCPA, if she has my recording saying that my voicemail is private and secure.)

This company is now garnishng my wages for $6000 and when my hubby called them to ask that we be able to make payments instead (as we never received anything from them for this) he was told that they wouldn't work with us for 90 days... doesn't make sense. We know what it's for and would gladly take care of it but I am confused why they never sent us anything or contacted us...

this may be a scam and i would not give them anything until they give you something in writting. be careful! these scammers have gotten lots of folks to pay them and using scare tactics and folks pay them!!
