    Today Sat Aug 17, 2013, received a text message:  "CU ALERT:  Your CARD has been deactivated.  Please call 503-622-8946."  The ID # of sender read:    +1 (251) 769-6994.

    A Google search yielded number attached to a landline located in Welches, OR 97067.  A call to this number (with my caller ID blocked) yielded a message:  "2 1 3 7 9 7 4 5 5 2 is unavailable.  Please leave your message after the tone."
    I left no message.

    I've received this type of text twice now; both times on a Saturday.
    My card is just fine.  I assume some phishing project is attempting to harvest credit card information.  
    Used my card at a local business to test it out; all is fine.  Will contact the bank on Monday to report possible fraud attempt.
