I got a call from this number saying that I had won a home security system. They called their business name VIP 750. The caller couldn't tell me where I had entered the contest. I wouldn't have entered to win a home security system anyway. I already have one. I let him know since I didn't remember entering for it and he couldn't tell me where I did, I was not comfortable inviting someone to my home for a 'consultation and survey'. He remained friendly and thanked me for my time.

I've gotten these before. You've won a security system but that doesn't include the monitoring. So you still have to pay for that. Too much money. They don't give up either.

What a bunch of jack clowns.Said I entered a contest abut a year ago to win a FREE security system.I let the guy give me his whole presentation then informed him that  for the last 15 years have been installing security systems.Why would I enter a contest for a free system when i own a company that does the same thing.Watch out people these guys are SCAMMERS in the first degree.

I got the same call!  So persistent too!  I said no!

Got the call and answered the phone. Said same thing about winning, blah,blah, blah. Hung up on her.

I got a call also from this number on my cell. I don't give out my number so I am not sure how they got it.

We need to block people from telemarketing for good. If we want something we will call.

The caller said I had entered to win a security system. Couldn't/wouldn't tell me where I had entered. Very persistent. When I said no thanks I'll pass he just continued with his speech. That's when I blew a whistle in his ear and hung up. I have found this to be a great way to have your number removed from lists without having to ask.

I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST and still got a call from this company.  just hung up on them

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone (12/7/10 at 4pm). I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. On another website that showed up when I Googled the phone number several of the people who had received these calls had been called on their cell phone and were Verizon Wireless customers. I too am a Verizon customer. Anyone else?

Got a call from this number 12/8/10 @4:18pm. I didn't answer and the voicemail was someone breathing heavily into the receiver. Creepy that they are scammers and mouth breathers all in one. I don't have Verizon - I have AT&T. Not sure how my # got out there. I'm also on the do-not-call list.

Have been receiving calls from 503-688-2900 for over 3 months, even though we are on listed on the 'Do Not Call Registry".  Said that our son had entered and won a home improvement contest.  He's been at college and did not enter such a contest.  Very disturbing as they want to enter our home to evaluate.  This needs to be stopped.

I just got a call this morning from them on my Verizon cell at 9:55 am.  It rang a couple times and then they hung up so I don't know who it was for sure, but I'm not calling back!

I received a call from this number.  Did not answer and they did not leave a message.  This was recieved on my Verizon phone.

Just received a call from these guys. It was a woman who said I had won a drawing...but the information she had reflected my residence of 5 years ago!  Such a scam, these guys should be stopped!

I was told I would be getting a security system for installed at no cost. I haven't signed up for anything besides I already have a security system. We just moved here from living overseas for a few years. How could my contract be close to being expired ? Not at all interested !

Ditto, just rcvd the same call about winning a drawing of about 2500 entries from a fair where I entered.  couldn't say which or where just during the last year.

Oh but you can transfer your prize to a friend or family member... yeah right like I'm going to give you someone else's number?

I got a call from this number today - indicating I had won a home security system from a drawing I entered.  I asked him what company I entered the drawing with and he said it was the Bridal Show.  I told him that was over 5 years ago.  He said that was correct.  I told him I was not interest and to remove my number from his list.  He was polite about it, but I could tell he was disappointed...

They're thieves. If you say you don't have a security system or that you want theirs they'll know your address is a good one to rob. Don't tell them anything.

Go to the Do Not Call List and report the number. No matter how many times VIP 750 gets told not to call they will continue calling unless Uncle Sam gets involved. Just did it, took a couple of minutes.
