Has now called more than once. Caller ID says SSI.

Survey call.

Calls at least once a day, sometimes up to three or four per day, and sometimes as late as 9:45pm.  I have little kids trying to sleep!  Stop calling so late!  Actually, stop calling entirely!  Most of the time, I don't pick up.  A message is never left.  I have answered three times now, each time I hear along "beep" and then... nothing.  I have never tried calling the number back out of fear of being scammed.  The caller ID says "Astoria, OR" and nothing more.  How do you block a caller!?  This is madness.  STOP THIS!

Got a call yesterday and today.  a woman callers and asks to speak with me.  Today she wanted me to take a one minute survey qbout the state of oregon.  I simply hung up on her.  she hasbt called back yet.

Survey about politics in Oregon.  I did start to answer the question when I was told there were only five.  After the tenth question, I mentioned that I was told there were only five questions.  He said this was the last one and I answered it.  Then he asked me another question and I hung up on him.  He had the gall to call back TWICE to finish the survey.  I did not answer the first call but I gave him a piece of my mind with the second call.

It beeped, I said "hello" twice, then a foreign voice said "hello, is anyone on the line?" and I could hear noise in the background.  I hung up.  

I like telling them that this call's data and voice content is being legally recorded. They usually hang up once I say "legally recorded." If they don't hang up I say Oregon is a one party state meaning I only need my consent. Act this point they hang up. These people called earlier today using a different number.

By buying a call blocking device or phone.  Google them, the devices run around 60.00

Some woman, who was unintelligible wanting to do a survey of our phone services? Could not understand her English at all...    

Received second call from this number.  Caller ID: 'SSI,' No message left.  Due scam and proliferating calls, I do not answer, and will not.  

Call the States Attorneys General Office & file a complaint.  If each one of us continues to bug their office with this as often as the SSI bugs us there's a good chance it will be investigated for its FCC violations.

Evidently this has started again. Got call 3/2/2015. Thought it was Social Security. Did not pick up. They left no message.

This number called my cell phone several times. They ALSO called the landline phone at my parents' house & asked for ME... even though I haven't lived there in several years.

       My cell phone Caller ID showed "503-741-4037". I did NOT answer the calls. They did NOT leave a voicemail.
       The landline Caller ID showed "SSI, 5037414037". My mother answered the call & told them I wasn't available.

Keep getting call's from Astoria, Or. when I block that number, I get another call from Astoria, with a different last 4 numbers. 503-741-4037, 4213, 4212, 4211, the fun continues!

844-248-6968 is legal number but sounds like on those Indian calls it makes no sense call from 503-741-2394 say they be perusing you at place of employment at local clerks office the name of the company there representing not clearly spoken ! sounds like a scammer to me!

So far have calls from 503-741 -4937 and -4213. In each case, I did not get to my phone in time to pick up. The message left says "ssi" and says I can e-mail (unintelligible e-mail address) to opt out. "Surveys" mentioned. The robot voice speaks so fast that it is impossible to make out what it's about, so I'm grateful to the posts that make it clear I should not call back--didn't want to without checking for fraud.

Also my cell phone is on a limited-minutes plan, so I really grudge spending precious minutes on a scammer.

Got a call today from 503-741-4037, a different message from most of the above. This one said it was a debt collection agency, the caller ID said SSI. I’ve been expecting a call from a repair company with the first two initials of SS so picked it up, usually don’t. Interesting since I do live in Oregon and didn’t get a political call, just another scam.

Called would not say who the were. Told them not to call again.

I get this call over and over and never answer. Some days they call 4 or 5 times.  Then will go days with nothing and then get unindated with calls again.

I've received numerous calls from these people, possibly with a different last four digits each time, at my place of business. Each time, the caller ID says "Astoria, OR." They hang up after I answer the phone with my company's standard greeting. Very annoying.
