They left message threatening action over some fake debt......I've gotten calls from the same people but using a different number.

Have received several calls from this number for my dad, threatening him to call them back and left a case #. Have had several calls from this #, and they have used different #'s as well for the same thing. They have also called various members of my family. They also do not say who they are or where they are calling from.

How can I stop these types of calls?

Scam for sure! They call threating to go to your employers HR department with paperwork etc...Even if you owe debt it's a civil matter and the company collecting from you would have your info if it was truly your debt. Do not answer or call them back with any information about yourself. They even called my fathers house asking for me.

I received a voice mail from some lady tell me about she got a claim file on me.

This is has got to be a scam and they continue to call stating I have to call them back or they will serve papers at my employment or home. This bogus!!!

They left an action suit threatening phone call to call back

These people have Called saying that I have 2 individuals that are charging me with a lawsuits and ask for me to give them my last 4 digits of my ss# . I said no way that I’m giving them any information and they say they already have it they just need me to confirm so that they can discuss the cases with me .
They also called my husband asking for my information and he gave them none.
That was 2 days ago and now they’re back on it saying that they will be serving me papers at my work and/or home with a court date.

I have been receiving calls from this number the last few days threatening to contact my employer. Also gave me a case #. This is a scam.  My wife and several of her coworkers received similar calls. Her corporate security checked into it,  as they thought somehow they hacked into their system. It was determined to be a scam. Anyone else get the case# ask1608?

Left message a complaint has been filed. I’ll be served at home or work. I need to call back if I want to rectify this complaint. Also that I’d been notified..

They called me asking for a different person who I have no idea exists. Sounds threatening (saying the intended recipient had been officially notified)  and unclear beside that.

Msg saying there’s a lawsuit against my previous last name and to call

Have recieved several "this is the last call" messages for my son over the past 3 days. I wonder if these idiots know it's 1) illegal to threaten and 2) illegal to disclose information to anyone other than the specific individual.

Called threading civil law suit. Has been calling multiple members of my family leaving the same to go call.

I’ve gotten multiple calls from this # and they have told me they have a lawsuit against me and they are actively pursuing me at my work and at my home. The first time they called I didn’t answer and they left a voicemail. So I called them back and told them not to contact me anymore and not to threaten me anymore. It is illegal to threaten in a voicemail or at all on the phone period. The company is supposed to verify they are speaking to th correct person before giving any info away. They will not tell me what company they are from or what the lawsuit is for. I didn’t know what to think until I looked the number up and saw that this is a scam. After I called them and told them not to call m anymore, the same woman called me and left a hateful message saying that since she cannot contact me on the phone that she WILL be at my residence or place of employment by the end of the day. My work closes in 2 hours and nobody has shown up yet to serve me for a lawsuit, nor has anybody shown up at my house.

So glad I googled this # and saw it is in fact a scam. I owe no one money so that was my first clue. It does sound legit so beware! Just as the others, it was a recording saying my first and last name, referring to a case #, saying I had been served. Won't be calling them back, will be blocking the #.

Keeps calling for someone named Shawn/Shaun/Sean! Something about their account and even when I do answer to tell them off it just a darn recording!!!!  Smh... when will these people stop trying to scam innocent people!!!!! 🙄

They are so pissing me off. Call after call. Calling all my phone numbers registered to me. So my family is getting  calls for me and calling me. You are right they will not tell you who they are and have hung up on me

So is this legit or no?
