well it seems like these days the only thing people respond to is harsh words, like i said if people would politely ask to be put on the DNC list instead of yelling into the the phone that they are on the national do not call registry, which again, doesnt apply to these companies, it would happen. whatever happened to common courtesy and all that jazz. even if youre extremely busy or have some unexpected event  in your life that requires your full attention, just be polite, its gonna be 30 second call tops! i had a lady call me from rdd about3 weeks ago asking about the 2014 november special primary election. i politely refused to do the survey, she rebuttaled my refusal, i politely refused again and she said ok well thank you for your time, and i havent been called again

That's a load of garbage.  If you were conducting a survey then the person on your end of the phone would say so, not engage in a hostile argument.  Nice try though.

This number called my home for the SECOND time in three days after being told not to call me again.  I'm not interested in answering any questions or being a guinea pig for any research.  Once someone tells you that you're bothering them in their home, the one place they should be left in peace,a legitimate company won't call back.  Since this is the 2nd call I've received I'm filing a complaint with my local police department for telephone harassment.

Quite simply you are bothering people in their homes. You all deserve to be fired.

If you want to "respect people's time" why don't you stop calling and bothering them once you've been told they are NOT interested and not to call them again?  Is it because you feel you have the right to do anything you want?

How many times does someone have to tell you not to call them before you actually DON'T?  I'm guessing about the same time Hell freezes over.  I've reported this number to my local police department to be investigated as telephone harassment and possible fraud.

Although they may not be covered by the federal DoNotCall list, if you call them toll-free at 800-210-9983, and ask them to be taken off their internal DoNotCall list, they offer to do so and are friendly.

Regardless of you being a "research company" you called me at 6:00PM last evening.  The caller ID is "Mailbox".  REALLY???
Unlike you I have very busy days and do not like unsolicited calls to my home phone.  What part of this don't people understand?
Do you think we are all idiots and can not buy a simple TV, appliance or new vehicle?  As it stands we can not get exactly what we want anyway as the manufacturer makes that decision for us.  They do what they want regardless of the research.
Perhaps if the DNC list actually WORKED as it was intended to we would not mind the occasional Research call such as yours. But too bad.  That's the way the Republicans wanted it in 2003.
And we STILL don't have an OPT IN option as opposed to the standard OPT OUT.  Once you get a credit card or whatever you are opted in whether you like it or not.  Knid of like Genetically Modified food.  Lovely.

Filed a complain with the police dept get real do you really think there going 2 do something myself I got a cell phone from Walmart a roll over plan 200 min 15.00 a month no SS#  NO CONTRACT I live in Pa the phone # looks like its coming from Fla starting with 954 or you can put any state you desire & if I don't know the ### that is calling me I just call back from the cell the voice mail is not activated sometimes I play there game & jerk them around give them a taste of there own medicine

Market Decision. 503-977-6714 They have been calling off and on for months and every day for the last 3 days. Today I called their 800 number and added my phone number to their Do Not Call list. 800-210-9983. Apparently they are exempt from the National Do Not Call list because they do surveys but they must honor your request to quit calling.

Some surveys are exempt, not all..  and when they don't stop and do not put you on a DNC when requested to, then it becomes harassment.  And I'm going to point out that the survey thing is used and abused by others to try and slide by when they are telemarketing, scamming and fraud .  Not to mention that many of those characters also spoof legit numbers.  The same goes for charity's..  

I ask once, the next time I want the name and a valid address to mail my demand (yes demand)  via the US mail. The third offense means I file reports and complaints..  then let the free for all begin.

Your calls come ID'ed as Market Decision, Mail Box, RDD Field Services.  Legitimate research companies would be consistent.  You call at all hours of the day and night, including on Sundays.  I, personally, NEVER and NEVER WILL answer these type of calls.  So, good luck!
