Received other calls from 646-397-6135. Same script, same accent, same threats, same bogus threat of legal action. I called back and played stupid and recorded the conversation.Bogus law firm, phony address, etc. Told them that they were in violation of multiple FCRA sections and they of course did not acknowledge any wrong doing. Continued to threaten legal action and send a policeman to my door and arrest me!
Reported to Texas State Attorney General and all three credit reporting agencies. After this last call I reported the call to the Massachusetts AG's office due to the call from area code 508, Brockton, MA .Will now report to FTC.
These clowns have either hacked or were given my SS#, bank routing/account numbers, DOB, street address and employers work number! They have also called both of our work numbers with the same script. They were told not to call back as each has a policy of no personal calls.
My wife had applied for a payday loan, it was paid off. These companies share info into a common database. They are either incompentent with their IT/firewalls or are simply selling the data to whomever is willing to pay for it. Not a conspiracy nut but tend to feel it is a matter of greed and arrogance. Unfortunately, like some many other "victimless crimes," I have no expectations that either state or federal agencies will do anything to stop this particular group of terrorist.

I got hit wiht the 508-313-2051 so I blocked the incoming call .. then they called with what seems like a blocked number so I block all callers thatr block their caller IDs but this caller still got through! I am waiting for them to call back again so I can try to check the raw logs on my phonoe system or PRIs. I also also tryign toget the phone company to find the switch this caller is routing through.

But I believe the number is faked.

I have received several threatening phone calls from this number. I was desperate and did a internet loan in which they are claiming is not paid. I did pay it and don't know where this is coming from. The charges they are threatening are awful and they have me scared. I won't give them money and they keep telling me that I'm going to jail. I have never been in trouble before and sure don't want to start. If other people are getting these bogus phone calls then I know it's a fake. I had my suspicions but was nervous that this really was the case.

Same MO -- called my cell, first with a San Francisco phone number, then with the MA. (SF is local to me.) Threatening, screaming. East Indian accent.

I received the same call from a indian accent saying that to avoid further legal problems for fraud I need to call back Garden Matthews.
