called me today, looking for my daughter who is a "contact number" for someone else...would not tell me who was calling and rudely hung up on me when I said I would not give out my daughter's number...keep in mind that they are actually looking for someone else

Received a call from this number. The woman quickly stated their name and company (didn't catch either), and asked for me by first and last name. I said yes, and the proceeded to inform me that they "have an important message for me" but "needed to confirm some personal information first". She then rattled off a DOB and last 4 digits of a SSN and asked me to validate if they were correct. I asked her to tell me again where she was calling from, to which she replied "Performance" and rattled off some BS about how she couldn't give me any more information until I confirmed who I was. I told her I'd never heard of that company. She then continued to drone on about how she couldn't tell me anything more due to security reasons without validating my information because there are so many people with the same exact name as me. . . that's when I just hung up on her mid sentence.

"Performance co" calling with an "important message" for me but wouldn't go into details until I confirmed my personal information. SKETCHY! Needless to say I hung up on her.

Just had exact same experience to the letter
