lets find the connection between us if ther is one, have you ever gone threw a pay day loan or advance of some kind? I don't think anyone could find them, my opion is that they are not in this country.

ya me too!  Today he contacted me at my work and repeated my SSI#, old address, old phone number from like 3 years ago..... never had a loan through the pay day loan named American pay day cash... also he told me he was working through Bostons Law Group.... DO NOT give any information to this creep!  He told me that police officers would be coming to my work very soon to investigate the criminal activity of fraud that I made for $556.63!  WTF!  REALLY!  OMG!  It really bothers me he has my personal information though..    He also told me that I had two choices....1) pay the $556.63 now or he would proceed with the criminal investigation and they would put me in jail for a minimum of 15 days... Never once would he give me his name, or any other particulars as to when the loan was first initiated... I told him this was fraud and good luck and to see him in Court!

thats sad... yes, I do think of the elderly that will be effected...   This has got to be investigated!!!! They called my work today too!

This s*** is starting me me too.  I have received 4 calls in the last 16 minutes from this phone number.  He says his name is James Anderson (foreign accent) and I or my attorney need to contact him immediately.  He also says this is a time sensitive blah blah blah.  Over a year ago I was having similar problems with calls from foreign people threatening me.  It stopped for over a year and now it's beginning again.  I have a block on my cell phone but now they're leaving voicemails.  It's a fricking pain to put up with.  When I was working (I'm retired) they were also calling my place of employment and harassing the woman who answered the phone.  They went as far as calling her a [***].  I just wish that there was some way to end this harassment.  It seems that nothing seems to work.  Good luck to anyone who can handle these ass*****.

I got threatening phone calls right now too. telling me i got 3 felony charges on me. They hung up on me after i questioned them and they insulted me. what do i do?

I recieved a call yesterday from the same number, His name was James Anderson from Boston Law Associates, claiming my wife owed a debt in regards to a loan she took out.  He at first left a very nasty message, then called right back.  At that time I was worked up and answered the phone, he transferred me to another department, in which another guy picked up and he sounded like the first guy.  He started getting irate and told me they were sending out an investigation team and I was going to be brought downtown for writing bad checks and theft by deception.  I hit the roof, I told him I was going to contact my attorney.  He then hung up.  I googled the number and came up with this page.  I then called him back and told him I was going to contact the dept. of Homeland Security figuring it was a terrorist cell trying to funnel money by scamming people for terrorism.  He called me a "Cheap N&*##@$"  I changed my number immediately and am contacting the proper authorities today.

The same thing is happening to my boyfiend. The guy said his name was Jeff Scott and he called from 508-313-8122. Threaten to send him to jail and that he owed $50,400. These people have nothing better to do with their lives.

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

They keep harassing me and my managers at my job!!this guy's are pretty bad they dnt take a NO for an answer...I know they are SCAMMERSs...the thing is that I dnt know what to do so they would stop calling my JOB...I have a case open with the FBI  regarding this matter I also called the consumer report to report them Ana my job As well...I Have already contacted united cash loans where thdh supposedly call me from and they denied everything they even told Me  that this guy's are not legal...

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
