This number called our business today at 1624 hours.  Caller ID said "Assonet MA" so I was immediately suspicious.  I answered the call.  It disconnected.  So, I blocked my caller info and called it back.  My call was disconnected.  I tried again.  I get a recording telling me to hang on for the next available representative because my call is important... just before it disconnected me again.  So, I tried a third time.  This time a "Paul" from "Sure Funding Solutions" immediately begins to launch into his spiel about business "loans."  I blew the whistle into the receiver and slammed the receiver back down.  I think it's the same idiots who send out those bogus checks in the attempt to try to deceive companies into an unsolicited loan from them.

These people are a special kind of stupid.  They just called our company again, this time, today at 1059 hours.  I picked up the call, had to wait until someone on their end picked up (mind you, this is from a company who claimed, on their Facebooks page they don't use autodialers).  I heard the usual boiler-room racket but no one spoke to me.  I said, "Hello?"  The moron hung up on me.  As I said, a special kind of stupid.

And once again, these morons called, this time, today at 1014 hours.  Another abandoned call.  So I called them back again.  I told the guy who answered that I told them before to stop calling.  He actually tried to insist that today was the first time they had called!  I informed him that I had logged their calls and tried to give him the details of their prior calls and he kept trying to talk over me, again and again and again.  It was amazingly rude how he just kept trying to talk over me, as if the moron actually thought he was going to cow me into listening to his blatant lies.  Finally I snarled, "Will you let me f'ing talk?!"  At that point, he pretended that *I* was the rude one and was not worth talking (over) any longer and primly informed me that he would put us on the DNC list.  "Good!" I growled.  "That's all I wanted!"  Then he tried to play the holier-than-thou card by saying, "God bless you and have a good day."  Yeah, right.  Repeated calls, ignores being told not to call, abandoned calls, blatantly lies about their calls, tries to steamroll me into silence and he thinks he's a saint.  Idiot.
