Message states: IRS and to call this number immediately before law suit is initiated.  I called back to just see what kind of scam it was.  Male answers in a very foreign accent.  He asks for my name, but not spelling and my last name is very hard to spell.  He then asks me to write down his name, Roger Wilson, badge # IRM 12...  then states that he is with the IRS and my taxes were off from 2008-2013.  And then asks number.  I went back and forth with him as I didn't know what he was saying about a number.  He finally asked what number did they call me to leave message.  At that point I hung up.

Poorly recorded message that states the IRS is filing law suits against you and then it states the phone number twice. No case numbers  to contact the wirh, nothing. If you get this call, my opinion is don't call them back.

I received a call from 509-207-4101 and listened to a recorded call supposedly from the "IRS" telling me to call this number back immediately as the "IRS" was getting ready to initiate a lawsuit against me. No information about case numbers, petitions, or anything else saying what I may have done to get in trouble with the "IRS". The call is a scam. This is the second call, the first was from a different number and for my husband instead of me. I called the first number back, got a guy with a heavy accent who hung up on me when I asked who he was and what I have supposedly done.

Thank God I checked the number on line while talking to them. Claimed they had sent me two letters regarding a law suit and needed $4,987 to remedy the situation or a law suit would be filed which would target my home, possessions, etc. When I refused to pay without any documentation they transferred me to two other managers and then gave up. SOB's

This must be the latest scam number they are using. Said, This is a recorded message from the IRS. You are being sued...Call this number...          Don't call back or give any information, much less any money.

automated message:  "Final notice from IRS..., Internal Revenue Service... the reason of this call is to inform that IRS... is filling lawsuit against you...  to get more information about this case file... please call immediately on 509...207...4101.  I repeat... 509...207...4101."  We called an official IRS phone number as posted on paperwork related to our taxes and posted on their official website. After a 45 minute wait, we were directed by an official agent to report this to the US treasury as a scam with the details.  We filled in the simple form for the US government to investigate these people trying to steal our hard earned money.

I just got a vm message stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call 509 643 4359 Please. 509 643 4359 Thank you. This freaked me out. Then I read all of your comments and realized it was a scam. I have had my identity stolen 49 times, I don't want to get to 50. So glad this site is up.
