automated message reporting the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and asking me to call back on that number. Called twice in last 2 1/2 hours.

Left message earlier today to call the number back because the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.  I picked up the second time they called hoping to confront a real person, but it was a recorded message like the previous voicemail they left.

Called 2x today. IRS filing lawsuit & need to call back number that called me.

I received the same messages as described above. Two calls within one hour.

I was called by this guy claiming to be the IRS, which they do not even make calls to people. ITs a scam. I asked for his name and badge no and caller id no. and he could not give me anything. He then pretended we were breaking up and hung up. I called back and the no. had been disconnected. What a scam.

Received an early morning (6:54 AM!) call from this number.  They left a recorded robotic message stating that the "IRS is filing a lawsuit against me."

Just got 2nd call from this number, first one was 6:50am and 2nd at 9:12.  Did not answer, thanks to all who post this so we all know who the scammers are.

Our 05:30 wake-up call from IRS scammers

These people called me twice this morning super early and I only got the last 15 seconds of a message with just a phone number to call.

I missed a call from this number. I called it back and the Indian fellow asked what the number was that I was calling from and if it was a landline or cellphone. I said that shouldn't matter and you should have those details if you called me. I asked "who is this". He said this is the IRS filing a federal com against me. I said oh really, where is your ID# and my certified mail stating so. He hung up on me.

The scam number on my phone message was 509-207-4163 - the robotic message has called me twice today.  Somebody get these bad guys!

My husband got a call from this number twice and when my husband called back, he asked who it is and and the guy said he is from IRS. My husband said, "IRS, I don't think so" and hung up. IRS will never call you or anybody. Please don't let these scammers fool you.

I received two calls about two hours apart on 2/10/2016 saying that I needed to call immediately about my case file. I returned the call. A man answered, something about IRS and it sounded goofy. He asked my name which I gave, but I believe he said something like, That's been cleared up, and then hung up. Not sure. Was pretty sure at that point it was bogus.

I called the number and played along till he ask for credit card number then I rained on that ass.I called him every name I could till he hung up. Then I tried calling back and got no answer.

Have had numerous calls from this number saying IRS is filing lawsuit and this is final notice.

Multiple calls from this number several times a day about an IRS lawsuit. Started Feb. 11. So annoying.

Four calls in two days from IRS scammers. A pox upon them!
